They work well. Much better than wiring cage doors shut. What a pain that wire is. Latches are easier to open. I did reinforce my cage doors around the edges with #9 wire to give more rigidity. In the past I have had raccoons pry the door open on the side on a door that latches on bottom and get in and eat baby rabbits. with this latch and some #9 wire for cage door rigidity, that isn't going to be happening.. Seem to be well made and durable. Great value for the money. Easy to install. Perfect size.

Using these on my all-wire rabbit and quail cage builds. They mount easy with hog rings and j clamps (not provided) and work well. Exactly as expected. I actually like to use 2 per door, one on the side edge opp the hinges (my doors swing sideways to open, not up) and one on the bottom. This gives me a little extra protection that a rabbit pushing against it wouldn't create a gap. But of course these work perfectly well with just one latch per door - that's how I build my quail doors.

These have worked really great for my rabbit cages. One of my does liked to play with the old latch witch was similar but weak and would keep getting out, with these new clips she hasn't gotten out and has given up on trying to get it open. Because the wire is so thick it is a little stiff to get un-hooked but is really no big deal. I ended up bending it a little to be slightly more inward facing so it wouldn't be quite so hard. But overall, really great supper sterdy latches!

Simple design that works like they should. Will hold most doors closed well. You can bend them some to work with your cage needs. I do wish they would come with clips to mount. I would buy again.
