Oh Splat White Glitter Nail Polish with Rainbow Glitters- 0.5 oz Full Sized Bottle

I wasn't sure if I wanted to order this polish, but I read all the wonderful reviews and went ahead with it. It just arrived a few minutes ago, so I can't comment on how it looks on my fingernails just yet, but I want to say that I like what I see in the bottle. It looks so festive and colorful! Also, I'm really impressed with the application tip information that I received with it. It felt like an extra touch. Another surprise was the purple tissue paper that the polish box was wrapped in. It was unexpected and made me feel as though I received a gift from a friend. It brightened my day, especially during this whole quarantine situation. UPDATE: I finally tried it on my nails and loved it!! The specks of color are just so much fun. When I first put it on, I couldn't stop staring at my nails. It's especially fun because each nail comes out different. No two will look the same, and this is fun for me. Ha, my hubby said that my nails reminded him of those speckled candy eggs that are around during Easter.

This polish is so cute! I love it. It went on easy, I did three coats with a clear gel top coat, and the colors are so cute. It’s not super “sheer” though you could put a single coat over the top of a darker polish possibly…. I applied it without a base coat. This is just day one in the photo. I was impressed with how the glitter shows through. Other glitter polish I’ve tried the glitter clumps or you have to continue shaking the bottle during application, or you don’t get an even look to the glitter… but not this stuff!! Will update my review if the polish chips or doesn’t last. So far it’s made it all day without chipping, my typical nail polish chips within the first 24 hours since I work in an office and am always typing, opening boxes and I’m pretty rough on my nails…. Love it! Buy it!! You won’t be disappointed

I just received this and was a bit surprised it was translucent and not white. I was going to return it but then added white nail polish before adding a coat of the splatter. It’s really pretty and trendy. Cons: It takes a long time to dry Hard to remove Must purchase white color as a base to use before this color Expensive for not performing as states in the description I think the company should set expectations knowing that many of the reviews complain about how transparent it is and needs a few layers before you get any color. I also think it’s too expensive if I have to purchase another color to achieve what the seller shows in the picture. I did decided to keep it since it’s different and fun but I took 1 star off because of what I had to do to achieve the color.

I love this polish! It took three coats to look like the product images, which I expected since it's a white base color. It dried quickly and still looks like new after 24 hours of normal activity (with a clear top coat on).

EDIT: I figured out the secret ... only one coat of polish. So: base coat, polish, top coat. The next night another layer of top coat. This mani has lasted a full week with no chips. Great looking polish, very glittery but subtle. That said; I’ve used it for two manicures, 2nd time I was very thorough: Nailtiques base, 2 thin coats polish, OPI top coat. Gloves always when doing dishes. TWO days after fresh mani, left ring finger chipped (see photo). Very disappointed. Not hard to remove if you have the fingertip clips, I leave acetone-soaked cotton on for 15 minutes before I wipe my nail bed.

I bought this polish along with 2 others. I got the other 2, which I haven't tried, for a beach trip and saw this one and thought it was cute. I did 3 coats but 2 would have done. One coat would work but it is more opaque than a solid white. It went on very nice. The brush is nice. I usually have trouble with back by the cuticle but the brush is slightly rounded so it was easy not to get it on the cuticle or sides. I would recommend this polish. Can't wait to try the other colors.

Polish is great! I am an artist and the fact that it looks like a drop cloth had me sold! Easy to apply and sheer enough that if you make a mistake it's okay! One coat looked cute but to get the white effect I used 3- 2 would have been sufficient. I though the spots in it were matte but the are glitter- still love it anyway. I will 100% buy this again and try the others. So happy with this product.

I really love this polish - some folks are just brushing it off saying it's just white nail polish with glitter in it, but they are wrong. There is the effect of using white nail polish and adding glitter and then there is this product. I've never seen anything like this polish - it's has become one of my favorite polishes, so much so that I ordered another bottle and a few of the other colors in the same line. There is some difference in chemistry going on here than just mixing polish with glitter - and the fact that it is a gel is no big deal. I don't have a UV light and it didn't effect my drying time at all or the set up of the polish. I had gotten another set of glitter polish that was meant to go with a black nail polish base or you could walk the glitter alone. When you apply the glitter over the black nail polish it retains it's original color and deepens - vamps out. I then applied a glitter that wasn't from the set and it actually changed color from green to blue. So there is differences in formulas going on here than just mixing white polish together with glitter. Also the polish was not watery at all. It was the perfect thickness that it only took 2 coats to cover and I've have had long wear on my acrylic nails.
