Works on a 2008 Ford Expedition
This product is definitely quality and I would recommend this to anyone looking for an upgrade.I can't speak on all expeditions but for me it definitely worked. I recommend doing your research before buying this product.INSTALLATIONWhen it comes to installation, both the remote and key will need to be programmed separately.Note: Modern cars have chip keys that not only have to be cut but also programmed to be able to run the car. (Just incase you didn't know.)The remote is very easily programmed. You can do a simple YouTube search and find videos that explain how to easily program the remote. Just search up "How to program a new key fob to a ford." The videos may not have the same remote/fob but the process works on this remote/fob aswell. The key however may be a hassle if you do not have 2 master/original keys.If you do have 2 master/original keys, it will be super easy you will need to first get the new key cut and you will need access to 2 master/original keys to your vehicle for easy installation. Again, do a youtube search and you will find videos tutorials online that explain this super easy process. If you do NOT have 2 original/master keys you will need to visit your dealership or go to a professional lock smith to get the key programmed. For me it wasn't to hard but it was a bit of a pain. I had the key cut for only $5 at local location for a cheap price and I went to a local locksmith to program the key for $40. In total I spent an additional $45 dollars. So, if you have 1 master/original key or none you will have to spend additional money. In the end it was very worth it for me and I am very happy with my purchase. I definitely be buying another one for my 2005 Expedition and see if it works on that one aswell.Edit: this also works on a 2005 Ford Expedition

works without issue, getting it cut was challenging - UPDATE: Broken after not quite a year
Update: the key ring loop unceremoniously broke off after about a year of very light use. I don't drive to work, the keys hang up in the box more than they are used. The key ring loop is metal but only attached by a tiny area (see pic). I am attempting a hobo fix with epoxy, but I'm not too hopeful. You get what you pay for I suppose.Original:I replaced a standard, non-folding key for a 2012 Navigator with this key. Programming was very easy, no issues at all. Getting the blade cut was challenging. I went to a typical hardware store and they could not get the key blade into their machine's clamp. I had to use a small brad nail and a hammer to remove the roll pin. This permits JUST they key blade to be cut on it's own. Maybe a proper locksmith would have a better key machine, but it wasn't that big of a deal once I knew what to do.Otherwise very happy and like the updated key. Would be nice if the body of the key didn't have some goofy logo on it. I peeled it off and threw it away.

Works like a charm (Ford Mustang 2007)
Lock/unlock doors and trunk work perfectly. Remote start (using 3 x lock or lock-unlock-lock) not working, I guess this is particular to this Mustang generation. The key is longer than my original one, so beware, make it cut by a real pro.Programming the key is as easy as programming the doors and work at first try.

Very. Not compatible with Ford Taurus 2008
Said it was compatible with a Ford Taurus 2008. You can program it to start the car but you cannot program the fob to work with the car. Meaning it starts the car but you cannot unlock lock Pop the trunk or set the alarm with the fob. Very nice and I would have given a five stars if it was compatible.

One year going strong
Edit: 8 month update. The key has stoppedWorks perfect. Got it cut and programmed at a locksmith in 20 minutes. Works great and I love the modern flip key upgrade. Make sure you purchase the right key thickness as ford changed it right around the time these models were made.1 yr update: key still works like a champ. I replaced the battery thinking it was going out but it ended up just being something in the car. Everything is working as good as day 1. I have a 2012 ford escape xlt 2.5 fyi

2006 Ford fusion
I normally don't write reviews but I thought this might help.2006 Ford fusion1) Battery was included so I took the key to the hardware store and had it cut for a couple dollars.2) I took one original key and turned it on until the security light went off.Three seconds or so. Then removed and did the same with original key #2. Then I put new key in and did the same.3) The new key now started the car. I thought the remote lock and unlock would work now but it didn't. I did some research and you have to program remote separately.4) I took original key and cycled the key on and off 7 times like one second between. On the eighth cycle I left it on and the doors locked and unlocked. I then pushed the lock button on all 3 remotes. Including the one in the ignition. The car honked every time I hit a button on all 3 keys. Then everything automagicaly worked.I hope this helps.

Not to shabby
I'm not sure if it was the locksmith that cut the key or the key itself. The locksmith said it was fatter than the original key first off. Secondly when it inserted it is very tight in the ignition. It worked but was hard to turn. The key programmed fine on the first try and still works. The buttons feel good but the light on the key fob is a little delayed from the button being pushed. I don't know if that matters but just something I noticed. Unlocks locks pops trunk and activated panic alarm fine.
