My go to resin manufacture. Blu is a great engineering resin line up
Updated 2: Tried Tough Clear, and I am impressed. Has good strength with decent flexibly. It is nice and clear, but does have a yellow hue. Even after following their blog post about heat treating in 60C water for 10-20min then sitting in the sun for 30 min. The clear isn't crystal clear, but clear enough for what I'd doing. Updated: Wish there was a separate review for each Blu resin, as each one has its own quirks and features. I finally got the nylon mecha to print what I wanted, and I think my issues coincided with software and hardware updates to the slicer and printer. Blu Lava Black came out great, and looks really promising for some applications I want to try and use it for. The print came out great, and dried/heat treated at 65C for 20min, then water cured for 10min. Part looks great semi-matte black finish. Blue Nylon Black has a bit of a bluish color to it. Made some lids, handles, and few other things with it, and has printed great every time I've used it. Has good impact strength, and should handle accidental falls of 3-4 feet no problem from parts I've performed drop tests on. I have had nothing but great experiences with Siraya Tech's filament and resins, and I haven't had a single failure while using any of their resins, until this one. A whole bottle, and not a single successful print. Used on a Saturn 4 Ultra using Siraya Tech's provided profiles for this printer, but I just getting failures in ways I've never seen. The failed parts that did come out look great, and surface finish as well the scratch resistant properties of the resin are really good. Just wish I would have actually had a working part after spending $70 and wasting 3 days. This stuff is thick and messy, with a lot of residual resin getting left behind, so make sure you clean well after using. Not a user friendly resin from this experience. That being said, this stuff is strong! I am really impressed with the strength of the parts I have made with this resin.

One of my favorite resins
I've been resin printing since 2017, using a Qidi S-Box (largest MSLA print at the time for under $1000), and since mid summer of that year, I started using Siraya Tech resins. I've used other brands, like anycubic, Elegoo, and bunch of other brands. But eventually I end up coming back to Siraya Tech, the quality of resin for the price is really good. Over the years I've used Tenacious, Blu original, Build Smoky Black, and many others. But recently this past month, I bought a Elegoo Saturn 4 ultra, and it's been since March of 2024 that I made my last resin print. So I wanted to see what Siraya Tech had to offer lately, and saw a sale on the Blue Tough Easy Grey. And I have to say, the stock resin profiles on the Siraya Tech website for the Saturn 4 ultra have been really great! I thought I would have to spend hours tweaking profiles to get perfect prints. But I just had to load the stock profiles and go, which is something I'm not use to. It even makes really decent prints on the Elegoo high speed mode. As far as odor,it's not that bad compared to other resins I've used, your still notice it but it's not a really strong smell. Toughness, I've been using it to prototype linear screw drives, and it has been holding up pretty well, I'm not 100% on the wear resistance. But either way, I'm like always, pleased with the quality and price of Siraya Tech products, so I end up buying 4Kgs of resin during their sale, used up 700Mls so far

Best Resin I've Ever Used
I can't sing the praises of this resin enough. Not only does it print beautifully, but you can get all the details you'd ever want just by being careful with your layer exposure settings (< time = more details). You can get any amount of flexibility/hardness depending on the amount of time spent curing. 5 minutes or less of curing, and it's so flexible that it's basically a nylon. 5 to 10 minutes of curing it's not nearly as flexible, it gets harder but still doesn't break easily. It took me 30 minutes of curing to get it to a point where I could snap off supports with my fingers; anything less than that, a good pair of toenail clippers will be required. Ideal print settings on a Creality HALOT MAGE (regular, not pro) are 0.25mm layer size. 1s light delay. 2 - 3s per layer with 3 to 5 bottom layers at 10 to 30s, depending on the weight of the model. At 10s, you can easily just tug firmly, and it comes right off the build plate. At 30s, I was using a metal spatula and a rubber hammer to get it off, (it still didn't break, but I did have to completely realign my print head). If you want a really cool effect, mix this 50/50 with the Sunlu "abs-like" resins in blue or red. It also mixes so well with other resins. It's my go-to resin to fix other resins. I even used this to fix the super crappy Yousu silver resin. I wish I could buy this stuff by the drum. Long story short, this is the best resin I've ever tried, and completely worth the money. *I use the AnyCubic Wash and Cure 3 for curing, but you can also cure in direct sunlight, and the properties get really interesting.

The Best Out There
This is, in my opinion, the best resin out there for strong dimensionally accurate models. Has a great finish and I’ve been using it for over a year and will continue to use it exclusively. In terms of price, I think it’s a great deal considering some of the other products out there that claim they have “superior” strength, minimal shrinkage and cost hundreds of dollars for a kg of resin. If your just starting out 3d printing, I would highly recommend this resin or any of the BLU resins SirayaTech offers

Résine de grande qualité, comme toujours avec la marque Siraya Tech. La résine BLU est un peu plus souple que la Fast et est donc moins cassante. Par contre, elle est plus odorante durant l'impression.

I bought this because I needed very clear parts with minimal yellowing. I’d read other reviews that suggested it was the foods and I wasn’t disappointed. Word to the wise, dial the exposure time down as low as you can get it before prints start failing. It still yellows a little, but if 0 was glass and 10 was fully yellowed this is a 1, maybe 1.5

Hele krachtige resin. Let op: goed uitharden! Tijdens het uitharden verwarmen is nog beter. Getoonde onderdelen zijn Trident onderdelen van een Akai bandrecorder. De onderdelen zijn wel wat doorzichtig.

I've been resin 3d printing for about 2 years now, and own two printers a mars 2 pro and mars 4 dlp. And outside a very short period in time at the start I've been using almost exclusively Sirayas blu resin line with the occasional bottle of Siraya's fast white because this blu nylon mecha is so expensive. I can't understate how much of a mistake that was. Nylon mecha is worth every penny if you want a strong white resin. The color of fast white is a bit "off" and yellows during post cure and the result is barely passable for dyeing(yes you can use RIT synthetic dye on white/transparent blu resins as long as the part can handle the hot water without deforming) and completely unusable as a pure white print. Nylon mecha on the other hand is a brilliant white and doesn't yellow at all which makes it perfect for dyeing prints to color after printing or using it as is. I cut mine with about 25% blu clear v2 which doesn't noticeably effect the white color but it does help reducing the cost of printing in nylon mecha without sacrificing strength. Other than the cost I have no complaints. This prints exactly the same as the obsidian black in that you really want to heat the print chamber. When it comes to post processing take care NOT to mix this with any IPA that has been used at any point for black or dark colored resins, its best practice to have separate IPA just for white prints as it is very sensitive to absorbing the color in the IPA solution. Between Blue Clear v2, Mecha White, and Obsidian Black and a selection of rit syntheic dyes you can resin print and color the prints to basically any color you want and the parts are super strong and as bio-compatible as consumer resin prints get. Personal plea to sirayatech - Please release this in larger bottles, at least 1kg. But while your at it please bring the fabled 5kg bottles in stock for Canadian customers for Blu Clear v2/Obsidian Black. I am literally swimming in empty 1kg bottles its such a waste of plastic.
