These large metal clips were just what I was looking for. They fix to your book like a large paper clip and then your pen hooks neatly within that - very clever! Good thing there’s 6 in the packet because my husband took 2 as soon as he saw mine, for his crossword book and notebook!

I almost let the poor reviews put me off. This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for, for MONTHS now. I wanted something I could put on the handful of books I end up reading at once, to be able to hold both a small pad of sticky notes, and a highlighter. This is perfect for the job! Very confused by the "a large paperclip" review - yes, it's exactly like that - but designed to hold a pen, and transferrable between books. I never write reviews, but this is great, and does exactly what it says on the tin.

Great strong clip for a pen or to mark the pages. It fits well and it stays on. Great if you on the move. Great disadvantage is the fact that the clip has to be completely removed if one wishes to write on both sides of the notepad - it’s raised and doesn’t fall flat on a table.

Couldn’t get them to stay put. If I put my notebook in my bag the clip and pen had squidged off when I got it out again. Maybe ok for a notebook that just fits on your desk.

It’s HUGE!!! Doesn’t hold a normal Parker pen tightly! It just hangs loosely. Pen needs to have a clip on it otherwise it will just slide straight out! Won’t hold a simple biro or pencil. Wish I’d read the reviews first - I probably wouldn’t have bought them!

Very good pen holders these, better than the spring type which I’ve never liked. Downside is you need a clip on your pen, pencil, felt tip as it needs to hang on the clip rather than the clip actually holding it hence 4stars. Happy with them though.

They are ok, you cannot remove your pen one handed so you have put your book down to remove or else the whole thing comes off. Other than that not bad.

Earlier in the year I bought smaller versions of these clips and while I loved them, many of my pens and/or styli did not fit into the clip. These are a bit larger and work perfectly on my tablets.

These clip tightly to my papers and hold a narrower pen clipped on from the inside or I just clip a wider pen onto the outside. Now my pen is there when I need it! Just what I needed!

This holds a pen much more securely than just clipping the pen to the elastic on my journal.

These are just ok. They hold SOME types of pens, but not all and they're just very basic. The pen slides around on the book cover and if you put the book/pen in a bag and they move around the pen comes out of these holders. They're nothing special.
