Could never go wrong by having a Haynes manual for your vehicle

This is my first Honda, a 1996 Civic LX, and I'm looking to get it in shape and use it as my daily driver for the next few years, hopefully. So I figured this supplement would be completely appreciated. It has great content, and I've perused the whole thing now for all the vehicles covered - so not to be mercurial - but it fell short in that it was spread across the three makes too thinly. I would have liked more on a handful of things, though what's inside was great to learn about and see pictures of. No diagram of the exhaust systems? It was just a little too light for a five star. It came wrapped and in the plastic, sticker and all. Perfect condition, shipped well, I only wish it were a hardcover (I should look into a digital copy) because if I left it in my Civ it would take a beating, Cheers.

I must say I was impressed with how this manual explained everything. Although I had some knowledge of the basics regarding cars, I only knew as much as stereo work and some body work. With the use of this manual as well as the Chilton version of their repair manual, I was able to successfully change the head gasket on my 2000 Honda Civic EX by myself. I was terried at first but after reading over the steps a few times and gaining enough confidence to actually tackle dismantling my engine, I soon realized just how simple the manual breaks it all down. The manuals step by step guide made it easy to understand the process and the photos definitely made it all come together and easy to follow. These manuals will definitely be on my top to buy lists every time I purchase a new vehicle.

I like this book because it will save you a lot of time and a lot of money.

Got the book a whole week early and although well aged the book is still in readable usable condition and will serve its purpose fine for me. Thank you Neil.

Absolutely fantastic. It’s been a huge help

We have an older Honda CR-V and I decided to start doing some jobs myself. Great book with very useful pictures and excellent descriptions. I managed to change various bushes and recently the distributor cap and rotor. Next on the list is the throttle control valve.

Livre technique très complet, seul petit inconvénient, il n'est pas en français et j'ai quelques difficultés avec certains termes techniques.

Bon produit, plein de photos des explications bien détaillées même s'il n'existe qu'en anglais il est très bien. Pour utilisateurs avertis.
