This charger is really deceiving, it is much better than it appears. It has some heft to it for its small size. It fits perfectly in my car's cigarette or auxiliary charge port, (both are really the exact same). The fit is snug, just what you want, there's no jostling it loose, and it isn't too tight that you have to stuff it into the port. This sits up just slightly from the rim of the port so it doesn't interfere with anything, another reason to like this device. This is small, metal and well made, a lot of quality in a small device. There is a small blue light that illuminates to let you know that its powered. I usually pull it slightly out so that it isn't always powered, if you do don't forget to push it back in place. One of the best features is its small size. I'll often take this with me when I travel as it's pretty small and I never know what my rental car will have for connectivity, but all cars have either a cigarette or auxiliary port. This is USB C in both ports, so make sure you have the correct cables. The charging is quite fast, I don't have a meter to check but my phone does charge quite quickly. The unit is also dual PD 3.0 so you know its supposed to deliver the right amount of power for your device. C1 is up to 20W and C2 is up to 36W so it works with both apple and android devices.

Dude, it’s actually heavy. Not plastic feeling either. It’s real metal. I wager it’s aluminum by its weight but it could be steel. Not sure. It’s just nice and heavy and minimalist which I like. This car plug adapter does what’s advertised. It charges my phone very quickly. Faster than a normal standard charger. It’s 40 watts so it’s good for iPhones and any other phones. I can charge my Apple Watch too. I use an adapter to convert the Apple Watch cable USB into USB male so it’ll work with this car plug charger which is USB C female. My MacBook Pro obviously can’t be charged by it cause it needs more than 40 watts so this plug won’t meet that bar. But it’s still nice that it can charge anything else. Even charges/powers my car’s security camera (I’m a Lyft driver in the United States. East coast) And yes you can use both female sockets at the same time. It’s not like some cheap ones out here where you can only use one at a time. I’ve plugged my Apple Watch and phone into it and it charges both simultaneously. It hasn’t been a year yet since I bought it so I can’t speak about durability with surety but so far it’s been working and it’s only been a few months. Cons: 1. the USB C female sockets aren’t directly 90 degrees straight up to the sky which is strange. When you plug your cable into it, it’ll be at an angle for some reason…. It doesn’t affect function or intended purpose but I’ve never seen that angle aspect in other chargers. That’s all. Just weird. Doesn’t affect charging speed at all. Just weird. 2. Doesn’t have a LCD display showing how much power it’s currently pulling or using. I’ve seen high quality car USB chargers that have a little display with a button to show how many volts or amps it’s drawing/using. You press the button to switch from amps to volts. Would be nice to know. Why? Because a previous charger from another seller burned my car’s electrical circuits. Had to go to mechanic to get the wiring of my car replaced. You want to know these things because relying on “it being hot to the touch” isn’t safe enough. 3. Doesn’t come with a outlet protector. You know how some adapters got a plastic insert that goes into the socket when you’re not using it… to keep dust and dirt from getting in there? This doesn’t have that. You’ll need to get a plastic bag instead when your not using it to keep stuff out of the 2 USB C sockets. Regardless, it’s a reliable good quality dual USB C quick car charger. I’m going to buy this a second time so I’ll have 2 since my car has 2 car sockets. And last but not least, no, I do not know personally if this is made in China or not. I’m not sure. All I know dude is it turned out not to be a bad buy. Which is usually all we customers can often say on this selling platform. The decision is yours to make man. Good luck 👍🏽

TL;DR Has been working great for over 3 year, safe bet to get one of these. Waaaay back in April (23rd, to be exact) of two thousand and twenty one, I ordered this charger. I had ordered one from another seller, and it was a different brand, already. When we needed one for the other vehicle, I didn't want to put all of my eggs in one basked. Glad I tried these guys out! That charger from the other seller/brand has been giving me problems for some time. I went to trying to clean it, and troubleshot it against this one with several of our cables to see if it was the cable going bad, or the ports on that other 12v charger. It was not the cables! When I checked on my past orders with the other seller, it is (surprise surprise) no longer available. I wanted to leave a bad review. But, I wanted to also give praise to this device. So, here I am leaving a good review for this one, after placing an order for it again to replace the other brand that crapped out. I have confidence this one will last me for years, too!

This charger is a must have for anyone that owns a phone and knows someone with a car. The body is slick, small profile and nearly flush. It matches the truck, and it's barely visible. Plus, a 20-minute drive to work can give you quite a bit of power, if you drive 45 minutes or an hour, you can probably charge a dead phone to 100%. Not sure on that, but here's it all in a few words. High-quality, strong feeling, small profile, powerful charge. Tips: 1. Get High-quality cords that support the power delivery. In fact, get amazing bad a cords always and learn why, for less, people say you get what you pay for. (there is a pretty good angle bend on the cord from the charger, it is probably worth it to get bendable or 90 angle cords. no cord issues yet because of tip one, but I wanted to mention it so you know these cord types will probably have the longest lifespan) 2. If you have one, and your wife or girlfriend has a different phone than you, and it can quick charge, get her a high-quality cord too, don't skimp. This goes the other way too, and well. 3. Get two cords for your vehicle for your phone type. So, if Android 2 USB C; if iOS 2 lightening cables. You will not like your friends, family, etc. look forward to using your charger if it means your phone dies. So, every car needs this charger and maybe up to 3 high-quality, high PD, bendable cords (or 90° angle), and I think gas and your good. *3 wires? 2 for your phone type and one for those iOS folks. j/k 4.

I recently had to replace the charger adapter in my car - it had broken, largely as a result of how far it stuck out, making it easy to bump, and the plastic housing snapped in half. I wanted two things out of the replacement - a much smaller form factor, and enough power delivery to charge two devices quickly. This absolutely fit the bill. The form factor is great - it only sticks out a couple of millimeters. It's a high power device - it charges so well that my wife, who normally doesn't notice these things, commented to me about it. In a brief trip to the grocery store about 5 minutes away, she plugged in. She couldn't believe that her iPhone's charge had increased almost 10% during such a short trip. And that brings me to the durability and material. Having such a small form factor charger, capable of delivering high power to multiple devices, often results in a short lifespan - the components sometimes generate high temperatures, and that heat has nowhere to go, shortening the product lifespan. The choice of using a metal enclosure solves this problem, acting as a heat sink, allowing that heat to be dissipated. It has the ancillary benefit of being stronger, and more resistant to physical damage. A day after receiving it, I've already ordered two more to replace the chargers in our other vehicles. Highly recommend.
