Delta Ashlyn 14 Series Shower Faucet Set, Brushed Nickel Shower Head and Handle Set, Valve Trim Kit, Stainless T14264-SS (Valve Not Included)

This set is the perfect color and simplicity for the aesthetic I was trying to achieve for my bathroom. However, the shower head started thumping and with the noise came a pulsating water with each thump. I initially thought there might be a water leak, but after calling my plumber we realized the issue is in the shower head. It seems to cause pressure within the line. You can feel the pulse within the shower neck and when we took the shower head off the wall, the issue disappeared, so we had isolated the issue. UPDATE: I sent a note to Delta, they reached out and I gave them what they requested. Then they reached out AGAIN and I AGAIN gave them the same information a second time. Now I haven't heard back. So very disappointed. I believed in Delta and I feel let down.

First of all, it's a Delta. You really can't go wrong with a Delta. Warranty , excellent. I have a small remodeling company, doing most everything in my rebuilds, including plumbing. I always use Delta. I have used other fixtures when clients ask for them , reluctantly . Why Delta? First , they have a universal shower valve body. The body that I installed to go with this also had shut off on the body, so if you needed to change the cartridge , you wouldn't need to shut the water off in the house, nice feature. Also, you can get new cartridges just about anywhere. Now to the item listed, It came in the allotted time, packed very well. The finish is very good, fit the valve body perfectly and works very well.

This set is expensive. It does what it advertises and looks very nice, but you probably could save a lot of money and do the same. Would I buy it again ? Yes, I would because I like the look and the rain head when I’m relaxing at the end of a shower . It’s a ton of water on your head !

This kit is top! I installed this, plus the rough in valve reccomended below the description. I didnt need a tub spout connector so I just got the HF valve. It was all done from the front of a fiberglass shower with no rear access. Had to use the thin wall plate aswell that was recommended in the kit instructions. The fact that I had pex pipe, no copper, and kept the original pex fittings, made this job cake. But, I can guarantee it is not going to be this easy for everyone. Im no plumber, but I did do a bit of extra prep and research to ensure it would all pan out. Gotta say, Delta just has a premium feel and look; plus the ease of installation and options? Very nice shower hardware overall!

Note: the instructions on the “hot/cold” settings are not very clear. If you leave it as is from the factory, your handle will have to be almost fully open to the hot side to get warm/hot water. I would suggest a couple clicks towards the hotter side. It seems to be well made and looks great. Shower head could produce more pressure but it gets the job done.

Very nice shower head at reasonable price. It is good quality and sturdy.

I bought this to put in my new shower and it’s awesome. It was so easy to put in and it’s very pretty and it’s lasted quite a long time so far no leaks no problems and it’s very pretty. I would recommend friends and family.

Originally I was disappointed with the pressure but found after I removed the water restricter it works great. Night and day difference. If you remove the rubber washer with the screen filter you will see a tiny o-ring inside a green fitting. (I used a sharp knife to pry it out). Remove the little o-ring and you have a great shower head. Reinstall the robber washer with screen to prevent leaks.

It’s been few days since it’s installed, so far no problem

Doesnt come with the blue cartridge I needed (comes with white) which was my reason of purchase so I had to buy seperate, but its a very nice kit. Nicer & cheaper than home depots etc.

This shower head and mixer are the perfect compliment to the taps we ordered. Our master bathroom looks amazing

delta makes one of the best products in its price point. Of course you can get higher quality but you'll need to spend more money. keep it on budget and use delta. I'm not sponsored I'm a contractor
