Soreen Fruity Malt Loaf 150g

Personally, I love the “brownie like” texture so I this was a win for me. Not too sweet, but sweet enough to have with coffee. Which is how I ate mine. Everyone’s taste are so different, but I will definitely re-purchase this.

This product was a huge disappointment. I ordered it for my husband because it was a treat he had as a child in England. It arrived packaged fine and undamaged. The loaf itself was tiny, and I mean tiny. When we tried to sliced it the whole thing collapsed, so that the slices were only about 2 x 3 inches. We tried to put them in the toaster because you serve it toasted with butter and they basically disintegrated in the toaster making it almost impossible to get out. Out of the WHOLE loaf we managed to get one complete tiny slice to try between the two of us. It tasted wonderful, the one bite I had! Don't waste your money on this one folks!

As an expat, this felt like a straight shot of nostalgia. One bite and I was instantly back home. Same dense, sticky texture. Same unmistakable malt flavor. It’s comforting, familiar, and exactly how a proper malt loaf should taste. The flavor is excellent. Rich, malty, gently sweet, and incredibly satisfying. Slice it thick, add a frankly irresponsible amount of butter, and it’s absolute comfort food heaven. With a cup of tea, it’s borderline emotional. The quality is genuinely good. It tastes fresh, authentic, and true to what you remember. No complaints at all on flavor or texture. But here’s the deal-breaker: the size. Holy crap has it shrunk. This loaf is comically small for the price, to the point where it feels like shrinkflation in physical form. You blink and it’s gone. At this size, the price just doesn’t make sense, nostalgia or not. Is it a great product? Yes. Is it worth the price for the amount you get? Absolutely not. I’m glad I tried it. I enjoyed every bite. But at this size and price, I won’t be buying it again.

It’s delicious, it has a soft chewy texture. If I had to complain about anything it would be that it’s so small but thats because i just wanted more

This is my british husbands favorite thing to eat! I bought him some for Christmas and he was very very happy, one com....it was a bit stale, nonetheless, he was still happy

What can I say? It’s Soreen malt loaf. It’s malty & raisiny & squidgy & tasty. Iykyk though my partner wasn’t sold on it i thoroughly enjoyed it… lol

Arrived flattened, used to be a loaf shape? Chewy, sticky, malty fruit bread. Lovely.

My order initially seemed lost, after some two and a half months of waiting, and the Comany gave me the option of z re-order or refund. I had been looking forward to that malty flavour which I last tasted decades ago, so I re-ordered. Just returned from a Panama Canal cruise to find not only my new order, but also the original one, in my mail box! The first was way past it's Best Before taste of course, but I ate half of it in one sitting as soon as I could open the package... and it tasted delicious!! Lovely sticky soft malty goodness. Thank you Mzrvellous Foods for great service and a speedy replacement.

This malt loaf was horrible My family and I tried everything we could to eat it. It was a mushy mess inside. We toasted and tried broiling it but no way could we eat it. I would advise consumers not to buy this product. All of my family love malt bread but no one could eat this loaf. Disgusted with this product !
