👏 EXCELLENT!! 👏 QUALITY!! 👏
Also did I mention... EXCELLENT QUALITY. I for real don't write reviews like ever, so when I endorse something, I MEAN it. I am a 22 year old man and am writing this via my mom's Amazon account through which I bought this and as soon as I started using this walkman, I felt extremely compelled to write this company/product a shining review.🏆 Just opened this guy up and after putting in 2 AA batteries, tested with an old Elvis cassette tape from 1973 and the SOUND is fantastic. 🔊 It came remarkably quickly and arrived in a little cardboard box; inside the walkman was seated in a little foam tray with the earbuds and instructions lying flat beneath. I felt very comfortable that it wouldn't have been damaged in transit. 📦 The BUTTONS are solid and don't rattle and have a weight to them that feels durable and WELL-MADE. Jacks for BOTH aux and mic are VERY appreciated and are both clearly labeled. 🎧 Analog radio tuner =🤌🤌. The video shows it sitting on its horizontal side but it also stands just as steadily vertically with the antenna pointing up. 👍 VERY easy to open and insert tapes. 🙌 I have tried other brands on Amazon that were fine but were a bit flimsy and got jammed or stuck pretty easily. I had bought two of one kind that worked okay but both started making screeching noises and quit working after about a month of very minimal use each. ☹️ It obviously hasn't been that long yet, but I haven't seen reviews here talking about this Semier stopping working (unlike the other one whose bad reviews I did not listen to🫣). I am actually really confident that that isn't going to be an issue with this walkman; it feels better and works better right out of the gate so I doubt that's going to be an issue. If it is as some point, it's likely a fluke or my fault and I can always return it/contact the company for help. 🙏 This has a remarkable PRICE and I truly see no need to buy anything more expensive as this does what it needs to and does it very well. 💲 The external speaker is VERY good. Keep in mind my video is of a super old tape and by nature isn't going to sound like Bose, no matter how it's played. 📻 The only reason someone might want to upgrade to a more expensive brand is to find one with a very VERY good speaker/Bluetooth compatibility, but we're talking about cassette players here which are predominantly intended for wired headphone use, so an external speaker is just a big bonus.👌 I tried the earbuds and they have a nice WARM sound to them and are really COMFYY. The earpiece parts are metal on the outside which just made them seem really fancy and cool. They have nice clarity (maybe a smidge muddy on some of the lower-mids but that's likely due to my tapes being old). 🎵 All in all, thank for coming to my TedTalk today, you've been a great crowd and I hope you will buy this if you're looking for a wonderful cassette player. If not then just to support these guys cause quality is hard to come by. Thank you and goodnight 👋.

Great cassette player/AM/FM radio
This cassette player/AM/FM radio is a very nice Walkman alternative but IMO it's too chunky to wear clipped on a belt. It's your basic old school radio/cassette player, meaning it doesn't have BT or an SD slot. With it, you can listen to AM/FM radio and play and record cassettes. It runs on 2 AA batteries or an external power source. A compatible USB cable is conveniently provided. It has a built-in mic for voice recording and also a microphone and earphone jack for plugging in the supplied earbuds. Its fit and finish are top notch, and it plays my old cassettes perfectly. The built-in speaker sounds loud and pleasant even at higher volumes. The AM/FM radio works great. I can listen to AM stations 100s of miles away with good nighttime propagation. FM stations come in loud and clear as expected. Its current price makes it a very good value. I'm thinking of buying a second one. I highly recommend it.

It is what it is, don't expect any more.
I've had original Walkman (Sony brand) cassette players, as well as other brands back in the day. Ok, so I'm old, but being old and having like a handful of these, I can tell you what to and what not to expect. Do NOT expect great quality sound through the speaker. These were meant to be MOBILE... that is, you use the headphones, not the included speaker. Think of the speaker as a convenience to monitor the music or to find what you want on the tape without having to don headphones just for a second. It's ok to listen to, if you want, but don't expect great sound out of a 1.5 inch speaker. Just ain't gonna happen. Next, is the player itself. Pretty decent, no snags. Works fine. As for the radio function, again, don't expect anything grand. This is primarily a CASSETTE player/recorder. The radio is just an afterthought. If you want a portable radio, get one, this is not the unit you want. The frequency band is way too narrow to accommodate tuning in to anything but the most strong overpowering stations. I think I am able to get two stations on this. My favorite stations do not have a strong enough signal (or wide enough band) to tune in on this tiny thing. It's a decent, fun player/recorder... Not as good as the old ones, but it will do.

Terrible and cheap
Stopped working within less than a year. Super disappointed. Don't buy this look for a different one.

Would buy again
I've bought two of these. It has good volume. Well built. Definitely worth the price. I use it without headphones and the speakers sound good for a cassette player.

update after 2 years
Update july 2023: Have to replace after 2 years of use (almost nightly). It is now screeching and scratching with high pitched sound even with fresh batteries. I cleaned the tape head with no results. Cheap doesnt last long. Ill try a differnt brand this go 'round. My old Panosonic purchased from Radio Shack lasted 14 years but they now cost $100+ for new or refurbished. It had many more features, good recording (pop up mic), pause, voice activation and better sound quality). Too bad there is no mid-range quality in these small cassette players. Im changing my review from 1 star to 4 stars. Overall not too bad of a inexpensive player but I have yet to record with it to give full review. It started screeching terribly after 5 minutes into play. I had used 2 different type batteries I had laying around. My bad. Matching batteries and so far so good. I use it almost nightly for a meditation. Auto stop still functioning. Like another reviewer said it does use up batteries pretty quickly...have to change about every 30 days when using it nightly. I didnt get the earpods with it.

Compact, nice design, good quality sound, works with batteries or AC. I am content with this product, so far.

It’s awful. It kept eating my tape and I tried different batteries, or USB..the problem is clearly with the cassete player. The reels only spin for three seconds befors the sound distorted then faded altogether. The radio is the only thing working fine but it’s not what I got this for. I will return it and buy a different brand.

Works great to take along in my wheelchair listening to my music

The only problem is the getting a cassette out and in. Not designed for hand to get in to replace. Sound is decent for the cost. Nice that there isn't anything fancy, just simple controls.
