Milwaukee 48-22-3104 Inkzall Point Marker, Fine, Black, 4-Pack

I am constantly surprised how well these work in certain conditions. Excellent value compared to Sharpies, the last a long time and as long as you're gentle with the tip can make very fine accurate lines.

Great permanent mark by Milwaukee

I use permanent markers constantly for work as an electrician, these Milwaukee markers are hands-down the best I’ve found. The tips are strong and don’t mash down like cheaper brands. They write clearly on dusty, oily, and rough surfaces like wood, metal, plastic, even wet materials. What I really love is the built-in clip and the quick-drying ink. I can throw it in my pocket or clip it to my hat, and it’s always ready to go. Plus, it doesn’t dry out too fast if you leave the cap off for a bit If you need a marker that can keep up with tough jobs and rough handling, Milwaukee nailed it. Definitely a five-star product and definitely a great price!

Good, but “Klein Tools” is better in all respects.

These things write on just about every surface. I cut a bunch of fence boards in the rain and while the lines aren’t quite as clear, they even mark on wet wood. They seem to hold up much better than regular permanent makers.
