I literally could not recommend these keycaps more
Disclaimer: Really big mechanical keyboard fan. Super into them. Big part of the community, and love to customize all of my boards. Even have one custom. I also have alot of keycap sets, so I feel warranted in at least talking about them. The board is a custom modded velocifire TKL-02 with lubed KTT roses and durock plate mount stabilizers. Board has a steel plate. I love these things to death. Review over, get them, don't think twice. well not really, but that is the gist of my review. They're great keycaps in their own right, separated from their value proposition. Pros: 1) they are semi profile- not cherry profile - yes this is a pro. Semi profile isn't really well known or popular, in fact I've only seen it in this keycap set and other similar ones on amazon. It is just SLIGHTLY taller than cherry profile, but keeps the same proportions between the keys as cherry profile. You get the same sculpting, basically. This is a pro because: one, cherry profile is really nice to type on, and these get you the same experience. Second, if you're looking at these keys, you probably have a cheap mechanical keyboard, and one thing all cheap mechs have in common is north facing switch orientation. The problem is that with true cherry profile keycaps, the row 3 keycaps will interfere with the switch, and you will hear and feel this. The bottom out will feel mushy and muted compared to every other key. However, this keycap set SOLVES this, as its height is every so slightly taller. Meaning that you will NOT get interference. That's what i love, you can get these keycaps and they will work with every mech you have. 2) The material is PBT, but its untreated (or at least I'm assuming it is). All my other Dye sub PBT keycaps have this very weird finish that makes them smooth to the touch, removing any semblance of the rough texture that PBT keycaps are supposed to have. These keep that rough feeling intact, providing a better texture and typing experience. 3) The legends are dye sub and are nice. It's a preference thing, not everyone is going to jive with the front facing legends. Even people in the 80s didn't like it unanimously. I love it though. Plus, it pretty much guarantees the legends will never fade out (you'll never be touching them). Though my preference will always be having legends at the top left of keycaps. 4) Their sound - its very very very very nice. The best sounding keycaps I own. I don't own a GMK set, but I do own a few good set of PBT doubleshots and SA keycaps. When I say I love the sound of these the most, I mean it. Sound is impossible to describe so just look up any linear switch video comparison on a vintage keyboard. That's the kind of sound they produce, delicious clacks. The fact that they are ever so slightly taller means that they deepen the sound of switch's alot. If you like low town clacks and thocks, get these 5) The keycaps aren't hollow on the inside, they have supports in them that prevent warping, especially the spacebar. I've had these for months and the spacebar hasn't warped in all that time. They ain't perfect though Cons: 1) The bottom finish sucks. They're cheap, so I won't fault them for that, but be aware that the bottom of the keycaps aren't smooth to the touch. You could sand them a bit if you like, but I didn't bother. Besides, no one will see them anyway. 2) the layout compatibility also sucks. There are tons of mechanical keyboard sizes out there, and while i use a 96% , the majority use a 65% or 75% and these keycaps will not support them. It has 115 keys but the extra keys aren't really doing anything. You get a 1.25 unit shift which I've never seen a custom use, ever. You get two 1u, row 1 backslash keys (black and white), which is baffling to me. 4 blank keys which only fit row 6 (arguably more useful than the shift key). The only seemingly useful key is the ISO enter. The layout incompatibility is unsurprising, but it hurts the recommendation. Anyway, get these keycaps, unless you have a keyboard with a layout that has nonstandard key sizes.

quality + great value
I simply cannot get over the quality of these caps for the little that I paid for them. The profile is called SEMI, but these are more or less just Cherry profile as far as I am concerned. I would have to measure them against a different set and the difference would be difficult to discern. The legends on the alpha keys are dye sub and side printed. The legends on the modifiers however are laser etched I believe it is called and raised. However, they are on the side of the keycap and will never wear off. What really blows my mind is the thickness. I measured a bunch of caps with a digital caliper and I recorded anywhere from 1.35mm to 1.5. Many budget keycaps nowadays are quite thin, but that is not the case here. I do see some mold markings on the underside of the keycaps, but not really visible when mounted. The spacebar is slightly warped, which is not unusual for PBT at any price point, and it does not affect operation. My only real "complaint" is that there are not more color schemes available. I also would like to see these in OEM because that is my preferred profile. So yeah. I will post a pic when I get to it. I think for the price you can't go wrong with buying them now and using when you need them. The color I chose is Carbon. I am not crazy about it but I do like the contrasting red and black with the cream. I am not very good at seeing and evaluating colors, but the cream color is difficult to match to a case I think. I completely clashed with the silver case of my Drop ALT. It probably mates best with a black case. The packaging is rather cheap. The plastic tray it sits in is flimsy and so is the cardboard box. However, at this price point that is perfectly fine. This helps to keep the price low. If you are looking for a sturdy case to store the caps in this is not it. If you are check out the Akko keycaps. They come with a very sturdy and neat folding case.

Great key caps for the price!
I have a das model s professional used for programming (cherry browns). i loved the stock das key caps, but the clack was little too harsh for my significant other in quarantine :) i purchased these just for the colors, but was pleasantly surprised after installing them. WAY less clack than the stock das key caps, low profile took a bit getting used to, and the build quality was way more polished than i anticipated. the only key caps that gave me an issue were on the number pad the + and enter key as they didn't fit properly. i had to use my stock key caps for these 2, so thankfully they're all the way at the end of the keyboard :) overall, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. would give 5 stars, but the 2 non-fits saddened me!

Great keycap set to refresh the look of your keyboard.
Purchased a few weeks ago and am still loving the look. Includes ISO keyboard enter (weird looking one) along with ANSI as defaults. Important to note that the keycaps don't really shine through well, I don't have a full RGB keyboard and would not recommend this keycap set to someone who does and uses the RGB as most of the keys block the light. Only my capslock and scroll lock have lights and you can't see the capslock unless you lean forward over the keyboard, the scroll lock is more visible when lit but not to the point of it making sense to use these keycaps for a full rgb keyboard. I've written probably 20 pages since getting them with no issues at, note that if you are going to be using o-rings you will probably want to double up as the crossbeams on the bottom have a notch cut out around the post (to allow wide switch compatibility presumably, but the end effect is orings don't make much difference unless you stack them with my cherry mx reds. Texture of keys is quite nice too and have not noticed any shine despite relatively heavy use so far. OVerall good stylish keycap set!

The box was very neat and the keycaps were held in very useful trays which made it easy to store the old keycaps. They keycaps feel solid and high quality, and result in very deep sounding keystrokes. There were only two downsides, there was no # key for the UK layout and therefore some of the number keys also don't line up with this, however this won't be a problem for most users. The other issue was how the orange keycaps let light shine through too easily, however the black and white keycaps were fine. Overall a very good product unless you care about RGB lighting.
