This is a wire brush for getting the undercoat, of course, but balance is key: don't press hard. Don't really press at all, just brush LIGHTLY. It works really pretty well to get a good amount of fur off my cat, but she also becomes so overstimulated by it really quickly. I've recently bought a plastic bristle brush (a wet hair brush, for in the shower) and been using that on her and she becomes far less stimulated/I can get more out of her fur as a result with a little more pressure in the brushing, even.But I also think this would be an amazing product for a dog or a less-easily stimulated cat. The ability to retract the bristles is AMAZING.That said, since I can't use it on her, I have taken to using it on the carpet and rugs when she leaves fur wads smashed down into the carpets and it's great for lifting that right on out of those.

This is a very nice for double-coated dogs. The tines are small and curved on the ends to make it more comfortable on your dog's skin. It does a fine job of removing the loose hair and fluffing the coat. I use it on my puppy, but not near his eyes yet, since he hasn't learned to be still yet. It handles moderate tangles easily with your easy patience. Love the size of this tool for small dog breeds! This size wasn't easy to find.

Functions like described. The tips curved, which helps keep it from digging the skin, but still need to be careful of pressure applied as it could cause some scratching. Would be nice to have coated tips.

Yo, this brush is out of this world. My husband and I stood there for 5 minutes playing with the button, I've never seen a brush actually fully retract the bristles so you can actually get all of the hair out!My golden doodle loves this brush and so do I!

Excellent for German Shepherds. Designed beautiful. Doesn't pull Fur painfully. Easy to clean.

Bought this for my wheaten terrier and he did not care for the way the bristles are against his fur. But the easy cleaning for this brush was awesome. If he liked it I would have absolutely kept it

Easy to use, clean and remove the hair from.I did find the teeth a little Sharpe after using several times our dog started to move and nibble at the brush as it had scratched her

there were some pins that were bent - should have returned but came from America so through it away as my dog did not find it comfortable

"Nein Danke" wird man sich fragen....? Nun stammt nicht von mir. Aber würden meine beiden Aussies reden können😢, hätten sie es laut ausgesprochen. Diese Bürste eignet sich meiner Meinung nach nicht zum Bürsten von lebenden Tieren.- zu hart-zu klobig-- und der Kimmick mit dem "Haare ausdrücken" ist unnötig , da man Büschel auch von Hand entfernen kann ( Würde die Bürsrte auch stark in Ihrer Größe reduzieren )Also meine beiden Hunde flüchten , wenn Sie ahnen mit dieser Bürste maltretiert zu werden.Es geht besser 😉und preiswerter

Nach den vielen positiven Feedbecks habe ich die Bürste bestellt unser Hund hat kurzes Haar aber sehr buschig. Also bei uns ist leider die Fellentnahme nicht so erfolgreich. Da ist unsere Vorgängerbürste besser. Für langhaarige Hunde bestimmt gut geeignet. Ansonsten macht die Bürste einen guten Eindruck.
