The look of this bird house is lovely and adds a nice decorative touch to my garden sitting area.However, it is made of composite material, is one solid piece, and not really a functional bird house. While hanging on the fence hanger, I accidentally dropped the first one I bought. The bottom sheared off. I could not find all the pieces to glue it back on the bird house.Only because I liked the look and because it balanced the display of birdhouses in my garden, I bought a 2nd Windmill Birdhouse. The 1st one is in a flower bed near a fountain and can become a toad house.

When we first got it, it seems like the shipper put it in the box incorrectly and bent one of the windmill blades. I contacted the seller and they immediately shipped a new one and now it works great. It is a very rugged birdhouse and looks great and seems very weather resistant.

It was missing the Windmill !There was a hole where it should have been but it was never installed or even in the box !It's a very nice Birdhouse just the same and I'm sure the Birds won't complain.

It's so pretty! The fan part is a little too tight to spin on it's own. Not sure if it's like that on on purpose but I still love it! And it is NOT poor quality like the other reviewer wrote.

I am using this product as a garden decoration. I had other birdhouses and yard art but needed one more blue birdhouse for a certain location in my flower bed. This birdhouse is cute and durable. It is in the sun, but has not faded, and it looks great!!
