Don't Be Fooled Into Thinking You Need A "Burr" Grinder
6 months ago, I started grinding beans for my morning coffee. I first bought an Amazon Basics grinder for about $15. Then I started reading and watching reviews on YouTube. About all of them championed a "Burr" grinder as the only way to go. I fell for the foolery and bought two different grinders for each of my homes. As winter set in, I was experiencing static cling due to the low humidity, and thereby had to deal with quite a mess every morning. Ended up buying a battery-powered sprayer to mist the beans before grinding. In the process, I started looking for a grinder that had a stainless steel cup, as I reasoned it would be less prone to static cling. Not wanting to spend several hundred more dollars, I decided to give this one a try. My original Amazon Basics grinder was given to my daughter. Been using this for the past two weeks, and there is zero static cling! After grinding, the contents pour into my percolator, and many times, I have zero grounds scattered in and around my sink. I set the grind basket and stem of the percolator directly over the sink drain so that any grounds that go down the shaft easily wash down the drain. I do not need to use the mister at all. There is absolutely no difference in taste between beans ground in this and burr grinders. Grinding and cleaning up with this is much easier, too! Near as I can figure, about every review promoting expensive burr grinders is from those who promote drinking espresso. For the 5% of the public that drinks espresso, the reviews may be valid. For the rest of us who simply want a nice cup of coffee, this little grinder is about perfect.

Spices grinder
I got this to grind my spices not for coffee. Right out of the box it worked great. Easy to clean and use. It holds a decent amount of my spices and grinds quickly and efficiently. The lid allows you to see inside so you can see the progress. Design is compact but big enough to get the job done. The value in this product is top notch. Although the outside is plastic it has a solid feel. The inside is stainless so it cleans easily. Not too loud. The longer you grind the finer the product. So glad I got this.

Rough and fine grind
I was super excited to buy this product, and figured there was some user error involved at first but since my purchase 6 months ago, I'm a little disappointed. The grinder is quiet compared to most. And the second lid makes a secure fit for easy storage and clean up. It takes far too long to grind to a medium consistency, if it ever gets there. Most of the time I get fine powder AND a rough grind. I end up having to shake and separate the grinds as I go. It's very durable and hasn't given me any issues. The overall design is great, I'm just having troubles getting consistency from the grind.

Great capacity and stays clean, just a bit loud!
I bought this primarily for coffee beans and dried herbs, and so far, it’s been a workhorse. The stainless steel bowl is high quality and the 4.2oz capacity is actually quite large—I can get a lot done in one go compared to my old tiny grinder. Two things I really appreciate: 1. The inner cover! It actually works to keep the "dust" from flying everywhere when I'm grinding fine spices or coffee. My counter stays clean. 2. The removable power cord makes it so much easier to store in my cabinet without wires getting tangled everywhere. The only downside is that it is definitely loud. It’s got a powerful motor, so you’re going to hear it! But it’s fast, so at least the noise doesn't last long. Thanks to the seller for a solid product that actually fits a decent amount of beans.

Great for specific uses.
I purchased this grinder specifically for smoke-product. I've already got a decent burr grinder for coffee as well as a Nutri-Bullet for food. This item is a generic grinder identical to numerous others offered on Amazon. I chose this model solely because every version on Amazon had good reviews and this version was the least expensive of all the other clones marketed under other "brand names." I had only used a hand-grinder previously. Some people may be very particular about grinding their herb. I'm that way about coffee grinders--I spend a lot of money to get a very specific type of grind for my beans and would never use something like this. I am not as picky when it comes to smoke-product. I just hate to use the hand-held grinders because the herb gets stuck all up in the metal teeth that do the grinding. I also don't like trying to get the herb from the hand-held grinder into my storage container. That said, hand-grinders normally come with screens in order to catch resin and that is a feature some people demand. You will not get that with an electric grinder like this. This electric grinder works perfectly fine for my purposes. You just put the product in the large bowl, do a few "pulse" grinds, and that's it. You can just dump the ground herb into your storage container with a funnel. They include a small brush and I use that to sweep out the interior of the bowl. You'll still need to remove the stems before grinding. Without being over dramatic--I REALLY prefer grinding my herb this way because it is fast & convenient. Since I do use this grinder solely for smoke-product I don't bother washing or cleaning it thoroughly because I'm only grinding one particular herb. The device seems well made, but since I'm only grinding small amounts of herb and the grinder only needs to be turned on for short bursts (<5 seconds) I'm not pushing it electrically or mechanically. If your needs and expectations are the same as mine, then this model does the job. I would recommend the lowest-priced version you can find of this particular model (regardless of "brand name."

Great Coffee Grinder!
Pretty good so far. Takes a little too long to get extra fine ground for coffee. Good size grinder stainless cup. I like the detachable power cord. Comparable noise level. 2 weeks update- Great grinder! I do not experience any of the issues that other reviews report. I can get a real fine grind for turkish coffee preparation in about a minute. Like dust fine grind.

Grounds Everywhere
This is a nice coffee grinder, it gets the job done and has a larger than normal capacity. However, even when not using the grinder to the fill line, coffee grounds get everywhere when you remove the lid. This is to be somewhat expected, however, the design of the grinder means that the grounds get into the slots that make the coffee grind once the lid is on interfering with the operation of the grinder. It comes with a little brush that you'll need to use EVERY time you grind coffee.
