Using it for 1.5 years and no wear tear.... Amazing product

I don't know if catnips are supposed to be like this, but my cats gets gluttonish and mildly violent trying to finish it.The provided satchel I kept on the table and forgot, they got the smell and started violently tearing the satchel to eat. Even when I provided a little on my palm they jumped and licked blindly and then proceeded to hypnotically bite as a way to get every bit of it from my palm. Very weird and I would stay away from whatever was provided here

Good try in making these kinds of long lasting stuffs for pets but I think cats a very moody- They're very hard to please but will get bored easily. My cat just sat on it for some micro seconds and then just ignored it as if it was some foot mat. I don't think cats like this. However I'll give those stars for the good quality meterial.

It's really an awesome product. I've two kittens. They're very naughty and there's a lot of scratches almost on every furniture. After that their next targets were glass tops. That's why I thought of a scratch mat.Earlier I bought a scratch mat from here, which was made up of hardboard. It served the purpose for a short period only. It took me 2-3 days to train my naughty ones. Later they're very happy with this mat. This one is coming with a strong rubber base and the coir is of good quality. It won't come out that easily. That's why I think my kittens has taken it as a challenge to ruin it . Bt it's a herculean task for them atleast for 4-5 months. Quite happy with this one. Price is also reasonable. I'll give 5 stars.

The scratch mat is of a decent size because an adult cat can comfortably sit on it. My cat and kitten started to scratch the moment the mat was laid on the floor. They needed no directions or suggestions or training. One of them spent some time sitting on the mat. Unlike compressed paper scratch pads, which starts wearing out after few scratches leaving shreds of paper all over the house, this mat is durable because it is knit with coir threads. Easy to dust and clean. Definitely an investment if you love your cats and kittens. Will order few more!

Hi , I would say that I took time to write this review. That is because i wanted to make sure what to write after seeing my cat use it. I did not wanted to jump to conclusion. Surprisingly I could related to some of previous review , that my cat has hardly used it in last 2 months since I purchased.The mat is well built , it's good size for a cat , however I dono why but maybe cat finds its hard or prickly on its paws but it has not used it. And when it did use it a few times the knot from two places came off very easily.Maybe all cats are different but mine did not use it till now. I would hope some day it will use it... But for now I feel either cot needs to be softer or it won't work for cats.

It is a well made product. However, all 3 of my cats do not use it. I even tried sprinkling it with Catnip... no luck. Since it is not useful for its intended purpose, It was a waste of money for me. But the build quality is excellent. Just useless as a cat scratcher.
