Does what it is supposed to do.
It's shreds T'bacca, and it does it very well. It's also very satisfying to see it take in leaf and spit out shredded tobacco. I'm tempted to shred other things, I'll have to think of something if I ever run out of leaf. It's almost like a tobacco version of a car crusher, which is also fun to watch.

Absolutely useless.
Absolutely useless. Leaves got jammed on the first try, got stuck in the groves on the drum. On top of that think I received a damaged product, there was a miniature fractured plastic part in the packaging. But even if it's a defective one, I can't see how it would be able to handle leaves well. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Works great
Works great. Whole leaf untreated tobacco spreads up perfectly.

If you're rolling your own ciggies, this is the size.
I'm reserving the right to come back and edit this after I've used it more, however at this time I've shredded about 2 lbs of Virginia Leaf through it... destemmed. There's a bit of a learning curve as to how dry the leaves should be so that they come out the right size shred. If they're a little too moist, the shred looks like you've run it through a larger grade shredder, and if they are too dry then they crumble going through. If you get the humidity of the leaf right, the shred is very nice. I've been mounting the shredder to a wooden bar stool and the shredder seems solid enough, however I'm not trying to cram it full of leaves and I am also taking out any the smaller veins of the leaf that seem pretty hard. It doesn't shred that quickly because the fill area is only about 2.5" wide, but I didn't feel like paying 2.5x the price for a larger one and honestly there's no reason why I need to shred a pound at a time. You may want to do that and if so go for a larger shredder. I have no issues turning the crank and as for cleaning... after I am finished I just turn the crank a couple more times and pull out the longer strands with some tweezers and put it away, I haven't seen any build up on the cutter with the various Virginia leaves I've been using. I think my only issue so far with this shredder is that the arm that holds the cutters is at an angle, limiting the height of the container used to catch the shred.

Broken plastic part
Look like quality is good but your packing is so poor, it did come on time but one part was broken , so I ordered a replacement one will see when it comes. If you can put it in a small box with little protection will be nice.

This one is not clogging up like the others Ive had.
I've been using it since Early February 2023 - so over 4 months and it hasn't clogged up once. Doing everything else the same way so I don't know why but that is what is happening (or not happening). Other than that I think they could do better with the strength of the metal of the winding arm, it's too easy to bend and wear out or break. I know enough to be easy on it but I would like it better if it was stronger metal. (Just a Note for improvement).

Lies about size and doesn’t cut well.
The listing states 0.8mm, but the cutter says 1.1mm on it. The ribbons themselves are even wider. It shreds tobacco at a molasses-like speed and requires bracing in order to function at all. Wouldn’t recommend.
