Valeo 4-Foot Light Resistance Tube

My new 90-day workout program required the use of weights, a pilates ring, and a resistance band, and this was recommended with my DVD purchase. Medium resistance seemed like a good start for me--though I am woefully out-of-shape and overweight, I have some relatively strong muscles that I want to tax. I found this band produces an exceptional workout. I am only 5' 3", so to modify this band to get my desired workout, I just stand with my feet a little further apart to shorten the band and get more resistance. This creates a tremendous burn, and I definitely feel it when I'm done with my videos. The handles are easy to hold (although they make a little squeak as they rotate over the straps sometimes, but that just a little annoyance to my sensitive mommy ears, not a problem with the band), and they have a nice texture that makes them easy to grip so they do not slip and snap you against your legs. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

these resistance tubes are the best invention ever. portable...i take them to work and do exercises with them. they totally help build muscle tone and definition along with healthy eating of course. You can do so many different exercises with these. Easy to use. I have one in each of the resistance levels. they do work!!! You will love them and so will the kids- my 7 yr. old son works out with them too. for many other differnt excersice option you can get tips and tricks on pintrest as well as watch videos on youtube

I ordered ‘light’ after reading the reviews and probably should have ordered medium instead but figure I can double it up for some exercises.Good to have so I can exercise in my apartment since all gyms etc are closed. Not sure how long it will last?Does not look as sturdy as Jack LaLane that was made out of one piece of rubber my father had 60 years ago.

A resistance band is a pretty simple device. This one seems to be well put together. I've had no issues after using it for a couple of weeks, and I expect it will last a long time. I use it primarily for shoulder exercises (thrower's ten), and it seems to be the proper resistance for this type of routine.

I bought this band for under $10 around six months ago and it has held up very well. I wasn't sure from the pictures if the handles had a solid core (as opposed to just nylon fabric handles, but there is a solid tube in there to grip). I would spend the money on this brand again instead of spending $15 plus for one from a store. The resistance level is very nice too, don't have too stretch too far to feel the burn!

My first side of the tube broke in about a week. 2nd side broke within the next week. These tubes are not durable at all. 4/10

Works great, I'd say it's almost better than lifting my small weights at least and it really targets those muscles. I have not yet tried it on my legs but so far it works great on arms and even though I initially bought it for myself, my husband tried it as well and found it quite a challenge. Not saying he's weak or anything but apparently it works pretty well :)

I first saw the resistance tube demonstrated on a TV program that featured different types of exercises that could be done using the Valeo Resistance Tube with Foam Handles. Since I've been quite hesitant to go to any gym, I thought this resistance tube would be a great way for me to do stretches, sit-ups and even some weight lifting. I ordered my tube from Amazon and they offered three (3) different strengths: soft, medium and hard. Well, I decided that since I was pretty tough I needed the medium and I got the product about ten days later. When I started using my tube, I did a number of stretches quite successfully. Then I attempted to do some sit-ups, thinking this would help me tigthen up my stomach muscles. However,after doing 2 situps, I blamed my hectic day of draining my stamina and had to stop. When I awoke the next morning, I was so sore and every muscle & bone in my body caused me a great deal of pain. When I told my son what had happened, he politely said, "Mom, those resistance tubes are tough and you should have started out with the soft ones." The moral of this story is, don't let your ego set standards that you can't reach!

Great for resistance exercises. Seems well built.Some suggested exercises provided but get creative, design your own.Fixed length of tube may limit isefullness depending on body size

Equipo bien ensamblado, hecho; el material es comodo y suave. Y la tensiòn que se logra para hacer la rutina sensacional. Muy recomendable.

Muy buen producto pero no tan pesado. No lo considero de resistencia"mediana" , más bien ligera-mediana. Si estás comenzando te recomiendo el rojo.El producto no especifica las lb/Kg de resistencia, que considero necesario para tomar una mejor decisión de compra.
