I had two nespresso machines prior to owning this, both broke down. It's really hard just to find a small stylish nespresso machine, so opted for this and I'm so thrilled that I did. It looks incredible. It's solidly made. It is compact and small and I love that it comes with the milk frother attached. Using it for the first time, I was gobsmacked how quiet it is. The nespresso was like an oil rig running at full pelt, vibrating all over the place (that was both machines - different brands). This on the other hand delivers coffee at a barely perceptible level of noise. In fact I wouldn't call it noise. Noise is unwanted sound, this is a pleasurable hum.. The milk frother works exceptionally well and when you put it down in the cradle, it gives a reassuring clunk. In the nespresso frother, there is a sticky up bit at the bottom which makes it hard to clean, this is smooth at the bottom- so much better! If you're on here looking and deciding on a Nespresso vs Lavassa, I hope I've convinced you enough. This machine just looks the nuts. Stylish, compact and delivers a great coffee. Do not hesitate. This machine is epic! No fancy options galore, just great tasting espresso with a milk option should you want it.

Makes a lovely coffee, easy to use with my arthritic hands and very easy to clean. Gets a lot of use, I'm glad I bought it.

For the price including the frother,this is a no brainer,Been using a Nespresso machine for 6 yrs,still going strong and delivers decent coffee.Have tried every pod brand going,some good others not so good.Saw the Lavassa on offer,and thought I would give it a try.Wow...read through the instructions,did as required and just used water (no pod) to clean the system.I had ordered the espresso nationale pods,I prefer strong coffee with a creamy top. Inserted pod put milk in the frother,and hit go... Less than 2 mins I had the best cup of coffee in ages,,strong with a really creamy top.. no bitterness,smooth and addictive.., the frother works street,so I had another😁. Few things to note, the machine was well packaged to say the least..enough cardboard to sink a ship,and bit of a challenge to get at it.the build quality is decent but the water holder is a bit flimsy,the pods are ejected as you lift the lever but only holds 4 or 5 pods,no big deal. There is a 40% discount if you order 10 boxes,which amounts to £32...great deal..all in all a great purchase. As good a cup of coffee as you would get in any resteraunt...Also looks great in the kitchen 👍👍👍

Lavazza Modo Mio Jolie ... was sceptical as some reviews are misleading - but I'm thrilled with this Lavazza machine !! The milk frother is integrated & total unit (coffee & milk) only uses 1 plug socket. Quick to prime & heat up machine in about 20 seconds Milk frothed for 1 small coffee in 30 seconds - perfect temperature Coffee brewed is piping hot & I used the Lavazza Arabia pods with lovely strong but smooth taste Great price, stylish & great performance 👍

Looking to replace my frother that has lost its non-stick, currently priced at £70 this is a no-brainer for £80. Other frothers seem to have built-in spinners that would be a nightmare to clean. I mostly drink espresso. Coming from grinding my own beans I've always been a bit sceptical with pod machines. Especially the coffee from a dolche gusto machine never has done it for me, but I've occasionally had a decent nespresso. I'd compare this closer with the nespresso, but a lot cheaper. Time will tell if it holds up (I'll definitely update my review if things change) but right now it's making a great shot with the regular (red) espresso pods. Takes about 15 seconds, produces a good crema, comes out very hot and tastes great. This was just going to be something I can do a quick coffee with for guests, but might actually replace my old pump machine.

I am so speechless ! My first a mode mio jolie without milk fross function lasted approximately 8 years but broken for the piercing mechanism not to be a right position. My new jolie and milk came next day by Amazon and this machine is much better than my former version to make a beautiful big frosting cappuccino ! It has an AI and even memorises your favourite level of coffee for you . This milk frosting function is so miracle - super easy and safe to use it with a magnet to support the mid part not to enter your mug accidentally and super ideal ultra fluffy thick milk is made . I had been given up with other frosting systems which are not giving me the expected results with complex temperatures control and speed . This makes literally a cappuccino that you dream of in a cafe made by a barista without any effort ! These days the price of take away coffee is hyper inflated to shock me in a station . I am working from home and this is like a dream come true machine !!! Your house becomes luxury cafe during your lunch time ! Two compartments are connected so when you dispose them , you will be charged by your council but this is only downside. I absolutely adore this machine and speachless. The lavanza eco cupsels are compostable and can be disposed to food waste bin . Good and friendly acts to our beautiful nature . So feeling excited. I also never tasted lavanza espresso so lovely - if you get bored with espresso, try this cappuccino with this machine. I think it tastes far much better and possibly they are supposed to be for this purpose. I do love espresso too but the calcium is lacking and in the cold uk , milk is necessary. I will look after this machine to have another long year of relationship with my jollie ! I am so impressed. Thank you . My life gets so much improved by this little machine !!

We are disappointed as the picture showed us that the milk frother was connected to the coffee machine as we only wanted one electrical plug, now we have 2

Bought it with high hopes, but was disappointed. The coffee machine blew a fuse within a month of purchasing it. The plus side is that the frothed still works, but is worthless considering I have no coffee machine to heat my coffee😬

We ended up receiving the older version with a separate milk frother. Had to return, still waiting for refund.

This is our second one as the first stopped working. Very disappointed in the service as it took over 8 days to even post our purchase.
