This metal-backed steel brush is excellent. I’m a pool professional and have been using it regularly for a few weeks now, and it’s proven to be very durable and strong. I keep it in my work truck and use it often, and it’s held up extremely well with no issues. It feels solid, does the job exactly as it should, and clearly isn’t cheaply made. I’m very happy with it and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable brush, especially for professional use.

We've got a new Gunite pool. In the beginning it's advisable to brush the surface to remove efflorescence as the concrete dries. This brush really dug in and cleaned the surface a lot better than the plastic bristle brush could. Be prepared to put some elbow grease in, but man. The surface feels so soft and smooth after using this thing.

What we needed. Works great. Lasted 2 years now.

Fits standard extension handles and provides good scrubbing on gunite pool walls and floor. With this, I was able to scrub off accumulated algae from the winter. Bristles are packed in well together and do not fall out. The stiffness of the brush helps where nylon bristles failed to remove the algae stains.

Only used once, but it was amazing the algae it removed other brushes did nothing for. Am buying another so can help do other end of pool at same time husband is working on deep end. Hope it holds up over time. Will update my review if there are any issues, if I can.
