These bit guards are great! Very easy to put on even over a gag bit with a high purchase. They will definitely make the bit more snug which is exactly what I was going for.

Does the job and fits well with my Pelham. I went up a half size on my bit which was necessary since the guards do take up some space. Seem to be comfortable and keeps everything in place.

I LOVE THESE BUT GUARDS! I purchased these after seeing another review on how easy they are to put on and they truly are! They stretch so easily I was quickly able to put them on my gag bit, a bonus for me is that they tend to make the bit slightly smaller. My mare is hard to fit with bits, most bits are either slightly too big or slightly too small. These guards made her slightly too big gag bit fit perfectly. Love them so much I ordered a second set to have on hand. I don't think I'd ever use another kind of bit guard now that I've found these. Easy to put on, they protect the corners of the mouth from being pinched, durable and soft. I can't recommend these enough!

Needed something to protect my poor horse’s mouth while his rider (me) got their hands in order. These do the job perfectly . Trainer recommended these specifically over the flat guards.

Works as advertised! Not hard to install. It's helpful to have 2 people.

Way too thick and unexpectedly large. If your bit fits as it should, these will cause your horse’s mouth to be sandwiched. If it’s too big, then this might be super helpful for you. Perhaps these are great for warmbloods, but for my 15.1hh paint mare it’s too much.
