Mrs. Anderson’s Baking Replacement Gasket Seals, European-Grade Silicone, Fits Regular Mouth Canning Jars, Set of 4

I ordered these to replace the seals in some glass canisters I’ve had for over 20 years. The old rubber ones were cracked and somewhat dry rotted. I use them to store pasta so I needed something new that wouldn’t crumble into my food. These were perfect replacements. I liked that they were silicon. They are the same size as my originals with the exception of being just a tad bit thinner. The jars still seal but not quite as tightly. My jar lid measured about 3.5” on top and 2.75” for the inner lip. I’m very satisfied with these and happy to be able to use my jars again.

I was initially hesitant to purchase because the size of my jar openings was measured to be about 1/4" wider than the stated size of these seals. But seeing as the price was not outrageous I decided to give it a try anyway (despite the no-return policy, presumably due to health concerns). I was pleasantly surprised that they actually stretched a little bit and fit perfectly over my jars! So if your jar opening measures 3" ... these should work fine. But of course, YMMV.

I have been looking for silicone gaskets for a long time. (Sent several emails to several companies in my search with no luck). These fit perfectly on my jars. Hand washed half & put the rest in the dishwasher. Both were clean, still the same size and still flexible. Passed my tests. It is so nice to get rid of the rubber seals (had to cover them with plastic wrap due to latex allergy). Yet another small irritation fixed and worth the price for me. 2/28/15 Update. Ordered more. They work great although I did have to adjust the wire snap closure on two jars that wanted a thicker gasket. Just took the pliers to them.

I bought these because of the ratings and because they were European-grade silicone. They fit well, but they are not as thick as the original seals. Because of this, I am unsure of whether or not they are as airtight (or will last as long) as the originals, but they seem to work well.

I purchased these to replace worn seals on a few glass jars I use for pasta and rice storage in the kitchen. They fit exactly as they should and were both flexible and strong. At the price, these were a great value.

They are slightly smaller than my old ones and a hair thinner, but will do the job. Plus my old ones were white, these are clearish, and give the jars a cleaner look in my opinion.

I bought two packs of these because I have had a jumble of cracked red and white rubber gaskets on my glass jars and was tired of it. I have about 30 canning jars and thought these sounded like a much better idea. I have round glass canning jars with wire clamps (various manufacturers, mostly Bormioli Rocco, I think) ranging in size from 1/2 liter to 2 liter. I put one on the 3/4 liter jar I use for storing coffee in the refrigerator, filled it with warm (not hot) coffee and turned it upside down over the sink - no leaks! I will try again with cool coffee this evening, but that's airtight enough for me. I store lots of grains, seeds and flours in the other containers, and will replace all of them with silicone after I've given this first set a trial run. So far I am happy with the quality and fit of these. I like the look of the clear gaskets - doesn't distract from the pleasing visuals of the contents! I will update this if I run into problems but so far, so good.

With our gas stove top gaskets discontinued by Maytag, these silicone jar lid gaskets perfectly function and fit under our Maytag gas stove top burners. Just a quick removal of the gripper edge tab using scissors, and these units are excellent. The silicone construction is quite resistant to heat, and the white colour matches our stove top porcelain. This product fit my glass jars with wire closures and sealed them well. They arrived on time and in great condition. I would recommend this product to my friends.

These seals fit the glass cannisters I have width-wise. They are a bit thinner than the original seals so they do not close as tight but it will still work.

Some jars they fit better then others but over all works well
