Made of high quality varnished birch plywood, high-grade steel, felt, textiles and rubber, the Race is built to withstand any amount of rough and tumble. The Race stands at the beginning of the LIKEaBIKE story. First designed in 1997, it has truly become a design classic. The feature that sets the Race aside from the rest of the LIKEaBIKE models are its cast solid rubber tires. The tires are well suited for use on hard surfaces, indoor or outside. All succeeding LIKEaBIKE models have been equipped with pneumatic tires which have a better grip on soft grounds while at the same time providing a smother ride.
