It’s set out in clear sections for employee and manager, has a realistic take on things and good coping strategies. It's easy to read, evidence based, there’s some interesting case studies, it doesn’t use jargon and has really practical advice and tools to use. I’ve bought 3 more copies to give to people I work with. I'm a Deputy Sister in a hospital but I think this book is relevant across all industries, especially at the current time.

It contains valuable information about mental health and the workplace both for employers and employees alike. It tells you how to work in a way that is good for your mental health. It is also well laid out. I couldn’t put it down. I cannot praise the writers enough. I can only say do yourself a favour - please read this book.

Must Read
Excellent read. It's informative, practical and takes the reader to the real experiences of people facing these challenges. Well written and accessible, I particularly like the humanity and humbleness. Especially during these isolating times that force us apart, the call to come together is welcome and a reminder of how healing it it is to reach out and ask for help.

This is a must have book for anybody who goes to work
This is an excellent book exploring mental health and wellbeing at work. It is a must have for employees, managers, HR and occupational health. Not only do Gill and Donna give great insight to common mental health conditions, but also discuss policy and responsibilities of both the employer and employee. It is a timely book endorsed by Dame Carol Black and Dr Steven Boorman

It had some good information - but it is more focused on the UK and not the US. So.. a lot of irrelevant. I also think there may be more updated (post-2020) information. Still, had an okay amount of good information. Audible version was a better option.
