As I had not done any research this product didn't fit my Phillishave 540 and so cannot rate it although l'm sure it is agood product.

I like the fact that it is one in the eye for Phillips. Their razors demand a new set of heads after 3 years - wont work unless you put in a new set of 3 heads and blades costing £22. But this set works and fools it and you get 6 new heads for £7. Stick that up your nose Phillips!!

Unfortunately the product did not meet expectation. Despite stating it would be compatible with a Phillips 3000 shaver it was not. The discs in which the blades rested were notched, the originals were not. However kept product as the actual blades sat comfortably in the original cup-discs.

They fit fine but they don't give a close shave compared to the Philips blades. Even when brand new the shave is poor. After 2 weeks of shsving every day they are blunt and start catching and pulling rather than cutting. I wouldn't use them again even if they were given to me for free.

So far, I've only used three of the six Heads in the pack, and they seem to be working fine. One could argue that they're sometimes not a really close shave, but that's probably because one is in a hurry. The key point to bear in mind is that, at the price, they are good value for money.

Nearly bought a new electric razor before buying these! Didn’t realise you could replace the little heads so now I’ve got another 1+ years use from the electric razor with the replacements I got - saved me a fortune and they are super easy to fit!

These actually give a closer shave than the original items. Very little hair is left. They don't make you bleed either. But if you leave the shave a few days it's very painful pulling the hair which wasn't an issue with the original. Clogs the razor up much quicker too. I've another shaver I can use first if I have gone a day or two without a shave that is pain free and then use this one to get a nice smooth finish.
