Certainly worth trying.
I tried this out of curiosity and was delighted by the result. I made fairy cakes and also mixed some with my bread flour. Cakes were lovely and light with no strong taste of almonds and the bread was a lighter texture with more 'spring'. Worth trying.

Usually a fine consistency, which I expect from a product called almond "flour". Recommended.
I bake with ground almonds a LOT, and I would say that this brand is overall very good. I also buy another brand from Amazon, which can at times be a bit "grainy" -- and occasionally that is also the case with this brand. But mostly it is of a fine consistency, which I expect from a product that calls itself almond "flour". Ground almonds can be excused for being a bit more rough, and for some recipes that works great; but the term "flour" ought to mean that the product will be finer, which is necessary for some recipes like French macarons, and this product does that job very well. One final suggestion for the manufacturers -- the Ziploc bag closure is a great way to keep the product fresh, but it would be SO MUCH more helpful if the locking feature was closed before the bag was sealed. As it is, the bag arrives sealed, but "unzipped". This means that loads of fine almond flour is already stuck in the zip-lock before I even cut the top off the bag to open it for the first time. It therefore always ends up impossible to "zip" and seal the bag properly, as the almond flour stuck in the zip prevents the runners from locking properly. If the manufacturer would close the zip before sealing the bag and shipping, no flour would have a chance to get stuck in the zip-lock! This is a minor niggle, and would not stop me from buying the product, but it is still very annoying, and kind of defeats the purpose of the good design!
