Surprisingly powerful little motors.
These little motors are surprisingly powerful, and fairly easy to work with. I used one for my chicken coop door, to open and close it using ESPHome, and have no problems with the motor. The drive shaft is keyed nicely, allowing a spool to fit on it securely, and the amount of power you can get out of it is startling. My coop door isn't very heavy, and testing this thing on a vice with a power supply attached I was able to lift a 5kg weight, although the motor protested loudly. Only caveat I have is that the tabs on the back of the motor are a bit finicky about accepting solder, but some wax flux and patience got a good connection eventually
