Ghee Hiang Sesame Oil 330ml

I fell in love with this specific toasted sesame seed oil during my trip to Penang where the amazing stuff comes from. There’s honestly nothing like it here in the UK. Goes great with all my East Asian style food such as noodles, fried rice and curries. And great with eggs too. I also like drizzling a bit with a cucumber salad with a dash of light soy sauce, a sprinkle of msg and a bit of pepper. LOVELY! If you like Asian cuisine THIS is a staple! It’s like the Asian equivalent to extra virgin olive oil in a way!

Great taste good quality smells funny good quality easy on the pocket.

I usually buy Tesco toasted sesame oil because it was cheap and tasted nice but the cost of living put an end to all things cheap, "you must be 'aving a laugh" they told me at Tesco when I used the word "cheap" so I decided I was worth a better quality sesame oil. This oil is the perfect consistency, not runny but pours smoothly. I only used a drop or so on some steamed broccoli and the taste was perfect. You only really need to use a little bit and you're left with a yummy dish. Remember toasted sesame oil turns bitter if heated so use it sparingly and add to your dish at the end.

Love this sesame oil .. love it through rice and pork with hoisin sauce .. good for flavour :)

I've had many brands of sesame oil. Taste wise to my taste buds its tastes a bit to 'roasted'. It's still decent, but I probably wouldn't buy this one again.

I was used to sesame oil that had a burnt acrid flavour, but then I tried Ghee Hiang and I realised it didn't have to be that way. This sesame oil is smooth, and packed with flavour so you don't need much at a time, meaning that although this is a little pricier than other sesame oils, it lasts a long time and elevates everything it touches. Well worth the small price bump.

Got this to re season an old wok and I have a nearly non stick finish now. And the smell when cooking is amazing
