Healthy and yummy
These lentils are a quick way to boost the fiber and protein content of a meal. Super easy and quick to cook. You can dress them up with aromatics or dress them down with a simple salt seasoning.

Very good quality. Stove top boil for 20-25mins (from cold water) is all it takes to get soft and tender. No need to use a pressure cooker. It tasted good as a puree as well.

For dishes that call for them, worth it

Prepared these for a nutrition bowl salad and they looked and tasted great. This type of lentil holds together really well (no mush or skins falling off) when cooked according to directions. I generally toss cooked lentils in a bit of butter, agave (or honey or yacon syrup) and a light sprinkle of curry powder. Family loves them. Black lentils are rare and thus the higher price. The package is resealable, has clear instructions with a recipe suggestion. The lentils were clean and no debris. Will buy again.
