these shoes are extremely comfortable for all day use
I am a Vet Tech and I work 6 days a week, of the 11 hours I work I get to sit down maybe two or three times. My feet never hurt, these shoes are extremely comfortable for all day use. I can't say that I prefer to workout in them as some other reviewers have pointed out, but if you need good tennis shoes for all day at work or on the go then these are pretty perfect. I also have a wide set foot and they accommodate wonderfully, although I would suggest some inserts for persons with really high arches like myself.

Great shoes for Jazzercise
I purchased these shoes being hesitant of ordering workout shoes online. I've got to say the fit guide they have here on amazon is EXCELLENT. I bought 2 different styles of shoes, different sizes and widths and they BOTH fit! I really expected to be sending one of them back, but I kept them both and alternate the day's I wear them.

Decent
I bought this shoe for three reasons. 1. I am a runner who needed another pair of running and training shoes for short and weight days. 2. I needed a pair of shoes that we not specifically designated to running, I needed a sneaker for an upcoming trip. And last but not least 3. I love New Balance. For the price, I love these shoes exactly what you would expect. For the brand, a little dissappointed. I have been a loyal fan for new balance for many many years and this shoe is just at or below the new balance standard. The bootie fit is great but the laces are a bit short and the shoe is not true to the typical new balance size. This shoe does not have a lot of room in the mid section and toe box and could use a bit more. But for the price and company, it is a pretty good shoe. I would recommend it for training in the gym or on weight days. More of a walking than running shoe.

Runs narrow and small
1st, I do like them. They are comfortable and good for to and from the gym, though maybe not wearing all day. 2nd, they run narrow and small. Accidentally bought them in "C/D" (wide), but they were snug all around (I have an average foot width). I wear a 6.5/7 in regular shoes, 7 in sneakers - but these were too small in the 7. Exchanged for 7.5-wide and they are comfy. I have never needed a wide shoe ever in my life, but for these definitely! Happily, they don't look like a wide at all.

Perfection
Nervous about buying new shoes online, but New Balance has always been true to size. I have the size 10 D which is wide width for my fat feet. :) I'm into cross fit so a good shoe is important. I put these bad boys on and instantly the foot pain from my other shoes is gone. Definitely best bang for my buck. :)

They are very lightweight and comfortable to wear
They are very lightweight and comfortable to wear. I'm glad I used the size calculator, as I ordered 1/2 size larger than I normally wear and they fit fine.

Fatally flawed.
Here's some background on me: I have a wide forefoot and a narrow heel. I have a tendency to supinate in my natural gait. My use for these shoes was for general training indoors between weights, cardio, and infrequent classes. When I realized my old shoes (also New Balance) were no longer cutting it, I contacted New Balance support for suggestions, and this was a recommendation based on my needs. I purchased these in my usual 8's in a wide - same as my last pair of New Balance shoes. These shoes offer cushion, and the foam has great responsiveness. At first, it feels like walking on air. Going from a studier shoe to the 822v2 was a completely different experience -- one I very much enjoyed. After a few sets of lunges and squats, I noticed the fatal flaw in these shoes when my feet were inexplicably unsteady. With my narrow heel, this shoe offers no support and stability at the back of the shoe. The heel is basically all foam padding without any structure. This caused a lot of slippage. After switching to cardio, I noticed the heel bunching up at the bottom where the heel meets the sole of the shoe. I tried lacing them tighter and with different lacing patterns to keep my heel in place, which only caused my foot to go numb towards the outside metatarsals. I discussed this with my chiropractor, who is also a fitness junkie. She was once brand loyal to New Balance (as I am/was), until a fellow student in school did a study wherein they deconstructed multiple brands of athletic shoes. New Balance rated really low on construction and actual foot support. She mentioned Saucony, Brooks, and Asics for great gym shoes (I've decided to try a pair of Brooks). So while these 822v2 shoes look great, weigh almost nothing, and make you feel light as a feather, they don't quite offer the necessary support when needed. They do run true to size where length is concerned, though seem to run a little narrower. I will still keep these shoes for running errands around town, but they don't fit the purpose for which they were purchased. UPDATE: I'm coming back a short time later to say these shoes are truly a disappointment. I used to love the New Balance brand, but these are a joke. You'd be better off purchasing a piece of foam and affixing a lace up sock to the top of it. These provide absolutely no structure to stabilize your foot. Waste of money.

Great price for a good sneaker
Great price for a good sneaker. I always buy a 1/2 size up from my regular shoe for NB... The colors are bright and fun and made in the USA!

Very nice trainers and very light as well. I would rather use them for training only as running feels bit odd and I think there is not enough support. Size is ok. I'm wearing size UK6 and I got this shoes in UK6.5, but 6 would fit perfectly so order your regular size. Price is ok. 4 stars only as the finish around laces doesn't look to good.
