Just what I wanted!
This replaced a 2006 Samsung 61" 1920x1080 HDTV with DLP technology that caught pixel disease after 14 great years. The 55" Q80T is plenty big for my space and at 40 lbs I can move it easily. It arrived in pristine condition, well packed and protected. I wanted a clear, detailed, 4K picture with wide viewing angles and no visible blur for hockey, tennis, football action. It delivers a bright, sharp picture, no blur, wide enough view angles for my home and great sound that surrounds me without a soundbar, just the TV built-in audio system. I was wary of OLED burn-in since a lot of my watching is on news channels that show relatively static screen-bottom panels, so opted for QLED and couldn't be happier. I haven't yet used its "smart" features; to me it's just a great dumb TV but I have the option of going smart if I want to. I have yet to be disappointed by a Samsung electronic product.

Exactly as described. So far, indistinguishable from new. Good service from seller.
The TV is fantastic. Supposedly “renewed” but came looking like new and in original packing. Have had several months now days, and everything I’ve used is functional and the TVs picture is fantastic. Originally deducted one star because the delivery took forever (three weeks) which seems odd in this day and age of two-day delivery. There are logistical issues in the world for a multitude of reasons, but the chosen agent “Pilot” has an unusual/unclear tracking system, which causes some anxiety on such a large purchase. That said, the sellers service was responsive, polite, and helpful. Pilot’s client contact was also responsive and helpful, and the delivery man was very friendly and helpful. All that to say, great seller and communication, and the quality is as described (indistinguishable from new), so would buy again.

Beautiful picture and great purchase
I had an excellent experience buying this TV refurbished. The TV arrived in perfect condition and looked new other than packaging. It’s been over two weeks and so far so good with the picture quality and electronics. A great way to save several hundred dollars on quality electronics.

Solid pre owned QLED
After long and Deep research into OLED and QLED I decided on this Samsung Q80T over the LG BX. I also decided to purchase the TV pre owned as it is a 2020 model and figure it would arrive with original packaging and very little cosmetic damage and I was right. No scratches of any kind or visible wear and tear, took my chances and saved about $300 dollars on making that decision. On the other hand the software is pretty good but had trouble connecting my LG Sound bar to my new TV, took about 3 tries for the TV to remember my home network. The TV remote is practically new no signs of wear and tear but very simple to be called a smart remote compare to my old LG tv remote. The TV has 4 HDMI ports which I believe port 4 is a 2.1 HDMI and also has 2 USB connections. So far I watched a few shows on Netflix and played with my PS4 pro, great picture indeed very bright colors and the blacks are good but not OLED good. TV does Enable free sync once the TV goes into game mode and honestly a very good gaming TV. I have not tried my PC but I'll probably do that next. I would give it 5 stars but the software interface gave me a few hiccups at start off and the remote isn't very impressive at all, still picture quality is amazing and video games on this TV look amazing even on game mode. All in all everything works and updating my review on a later date.

Impressive
Huge difference when compared to my 2018 Samsung with edge lighting. Colors are amazing. Black levels are a hair below OLED, not enough to matter. This TV really shines in gaming. PC like quality graphics in the game mode. Makes me wonder how it will look on the coming next generation consoles when HDMI 2.1 will really assert itself. Bought this renewed but it was delivered with factory packaging in every way.

Too much light reflected off the screen
Use Case: Q80T was noted to be one of the better products in the Samsung 4K line for 2020. Wanted to get a TV to watch movies and SciFi shows with a theater like experience that would last a few years. Save on the renewed option to get near new product for a whole bunch of savings. Pros: Picture quality is awesome for bright scenes. Local TV looks fabulous. I have looked at LG previously and local TV did not look as good. I am guessing the processor ups the quality of the picture on this TV. Smart features are awesome. Very user friendly and you don't really need a FireTV or any other device to be able to watch your shows. Samsung Plus has a lot of free channels which are pretty good. Cons: Product was delivered with a remote missing. I had to contact the seller to get this addressed and get a remote, but all they could offer is a $20 refund. Considering the OEM remote costs upwards of $50, I was rather disappointed with the outcome. The blacks in SciFi shows do not look good at all. Shows like the Expanse which were in 4K/UHD did not look as spectacular as I expected to see on this TV. I guess you need to spend more on an OLED TV or look at the Nano line from LG for good quality on that. Tremendous amount of light is reflected from my canned ceiling lights. My previous Sharp TV hardly had any reflection. This TV reflected and scattered the light on the entire screen literally. I constantly have to manage the lighting to watch a movie. Recommendation: Overall, I would NOT recommend this TV. The amount of money you spend on the Q80T is not worth the issues I see with this TV. If I had to do it over again, I would buy a different brand some of which are a lot cheaper than this like TCL. My experience with customer support was not stellar either. To just get a refund of $20 for a missing remote is simply ridiculous. Granted it was not Samsung's fault considering this was sent renewed from a third party seller, but I want to make sure to point that out. My rating is based purely on TV performance and does not take into account the sale experience.
