Thixotropic Super Big Fat Pen for Arthritis (5 pack) Black Ink, Black Body + 5 Ink Refills

I bought these for my mother for Christmas but she passed away right before. I had these in a drawer still in the bag for months. This cold winter my right hand began to bother me worse than it ever has had with arthritis. Although I don’t do much writing being retired, I occasionally make notes, do book reviews and write out a rough draft, and write plans in my shop. I was totally surprised on how easy I got grip this pen. Sometimes when I write, I have to use my left hand to adjust the pen in my right hand due to the arthritis. With these pens. I simply pick it up and write. There is no effort gripping the pen and no pain when I do write, I thought that the pen being short would bother me but it’s fine. It’s a amazing how the thickness makes writing and drawing plans so much easier. I have not had one instance where I had to re adjust or stop writing due to my arthritis pain. I bought these for my 86 year old mother, but at 63, they work absolutely perfect for me too. Even though my arthritis is not as bad as hers, it’s just wonderful to write again like I once did with no pain, no effort, and be comfortable. Excellent product.

I have arthritis as well as a locked thumb on my writing hand and could barely sign my name anymore. I discovered these pens by accident and am SO very grateful that I did. The design is perfect - comfortable thickness, good grip material. I can once again write! Great value too - 5 pens plus 5 refills! Highly recommend!

The grip is great, it helps a LOT. BUT, the pen, not so much. The writing is not smooth at all.

Thixotropic Super Big Fat Pens were great for arthritic hands, especially if your thumb and fingers are arthritic. It is big enough to grasp easily, without needing much pressure to hold it. I have had these pens before in the clear and black, I love the blue, they are so pretty. I wish that the lanyard to hold it was longer. It easily goes over my head, but it is too short to wear it while writing. It does however work if you want to hang the pen up.

I really like these pens & they helped with my hand issue when writing. The only issue I have is that the ink is too "runny" when I write...Other than that, it's fine.

I’ve had rheumatoid arthritis since I was 12. Now at 27, writing has become way more challenging and my hands cramp up instantly. These pens are fantastic quality. 5 come in a bundle and are already loaded with ink. You also get 5 replaceable ink inserts. They also have removable shoe-string necklace - I could see this working great for people like me who lose things easily. They’re really perfectly for writing everyday notes and I use this for work now. Life changing- no more hand cramps!

My job requires me to hand write a fair amount, and my thumb arthritis makes that very painful; these pens really help. The ink runs out quickly but refills are easy to come by. I always dispose of the lanyards. The shape makes them more likely to roll off my desk than other pens/pencils, but I just make a habit of laying them down perpendicular to the desk edge. After almost 2 years of daily use, the cushy grip fell off one pen and I lost it before I could try gluing it back on; between that and giving away/misplacing a few over two years, I just ordered another set of 5. I'm still looking for a similarly shaped .5 pencil; the brand I tried was smaller (so more painful) and had other issues.

These are the best. I can not write with a normal pen or pencil without excruciating thumb pain. Using these makes the pain very minimal

Great product, smooth writing pen, comes with fillers. You can also use parker jotter fillers as a higher end option. Material is durable, rubber grips works well and comfortable to touch. Great product and will but again as needed.

Not good quality. Pen nib protrudes too short and writes sketchily. Boo

Habe mir diese Stifte gekauft, weil ich mit "normalen Stiften" extreme schwierigkeiten habe zu schreiben. Diese Stifte begleiten mich mittlerweile überall, ob zuhause oder in der Handtasche für unterwegs. Sie lassen sich für mich besser greifen und beim schreiben Kraft die Hand / die Finger nicht mehr ganz so schnell. Für Unterschriften bei Ärzten oder Formulare Ausfüllen bis hin zur Einkaufsliste ein super Helferlein. Schade nur das dieses Set nur mit schwarzer Stift Minen bestellt werden kann. Wäre schön wenn man die auch mit blauen Stift Minen oder gemischt mit blau und Schwarz wählen könnte. Aber ich bin dennoch sehr begeistert von diesen stiften. Es lässt sich viel leichter damit schreiben ohne viel druck aufwenden zu müssen. Hände/ Finger krampfen dadurch nicht mehr so schnell. Kann sie jedem nur empfehlen die Rheuma oder derartige erkrankungen haben wo sie Probleme mit Händen und schrreiben haben. von mir einen dicken daumen hoch. vielen dank für die schnelle lieferung.
