Essential Mardi Gras gear.
I'm in a band that plays samba music and this is essential equipment to add flair to the melody. This whistle has a much more shrill sound than the plastic one my friend has.

Much better than the plastic ones
When I showed up for Samba Band practice, everyone knew I was a Pro when I whistled clearly in 2 pitches through all the drum breaks. Everyone followed me down the street to the local bar. I was a samba superstar thanks to this spectacular whistle!

The whistle I received was, indeed , from Acme, but it was a cheap, red-green-yellow plastic toy, not the plated brass professional item shown in the description. Very disappointed and suspicious of Acme's other offerings. Hey Acme, step up and do the right thing. This is an embarrassment.
