Tretorn's micro cellular technology is patented worldwide and recognized by the International Tennis Federation as the pioneer of a new category of tennis ball. Instead of compressed air, Tretorn Micro X is filled with 700 million air-filled micro cells that cannot escape through the ball's rubber core, resulting in a ball that never loses performance. Each ball is surfaced with Tretorn's exclusive Flex-Felt, specially designed from wool and polyester fiber for unsurpassed feel, playability, and wear resistance. 72 balls per box. Color: Two-Tone (yellow/white) Review: Not a Conventional Pressureless Tennis Ball - People develop tennis elbow and shoulder injuries from conventional, pressureless ball - they're heavy and feel like rocks. Micro-Xs are not conventional pressureless tennis balls. They're alarmingly expense, but provide a great long-lasting bounce for my Silent Partner ball machine. Beware - bounce increases proportionally to loss of fuzz and lighter weight. The older they get, the faster they get. Purchase the two-tone version so you can easily recognize your balls from regular balls. They're too expensive for other players to accidently walk off with. Review: Great choice for Ball Machines - Our first batch of balls lasted for a few years. The felt goes eventually and you have to replace before they go flat. This is a great choice for ball machines and the two tone helps to see whether your kid is hitting with top spin or not.

Good choice for practice balls
As advertised, these balls do last longer than typical pressureless balls. The 2 tone also really helps keep them separated from other balls. The fuzz is standard wear - it will wear out just like regular balls, but the bounce doesn't diminish. They are definitely pricey, but in my mind they are worth it because of the ball life. My 2 kids play competitive tennis so I'm using them at least 3-4 days a week, 72 pack has lasted me nearly 5 months of heavy wear. Recommended. Price down 20% would equal 5 star rating.
