I needed a bit of extra light to fix a tiny flaw on one of my products — the manufacturing process had left a small flare of rubber that needed trimming, and I wanted to make sure I could see every detail clearly. While looking for a quick lighting solution, I came across the “Ring Light with Tripod Stand & Phone Holder – 10-inch Selfie LED Ringlight (Dimmable)” on Amazon, and it looked like the perfect tool for the job. At under £25, it seemed like a smart little investment — not just for this one task, but for plenty of future uses too. It arrived the next day with Prime (always a bonus!), neatly packaged and in perfect condition. First impressions were great: the tripod is surprisingly sturdy for something so lightweight, with solid closures that lock the height in place nicely. The ring light itself mounts easily with a screw fitting, and once in place, it feels secure and stable — no wobbling or slipping and with plenty of cable length too. The light connects via USB, which is really convenient. I simply plugged it into my power bank, and it lit up beautifully. The functionality is good, brightness and colour range are impressive for the price — from warm tones to cool whites — though I mainly use the crisp white setting when I need precision and clarity. It also comes with a phone holder that’s well-designed and easy to adjust, plus a remote control that syncs perfectly with my phone. I can see how this setup would be ideal for filming, photography, or even video calls — it’s versatile, compact, and very user-friendly. All things considered, this ring light is an excellent value-for-money tool. It’s one of those items that you don’t realise how useful it is until you’ve got one — and then you end up using it for everything from small repairs to lighting up small projects, videos, or workspace shots. Not quite as bright as it could be to be truly useful, but fine for small projects. Easy to set up, surprisingly complete set for the money. If you want a simple, cheap ring light set you get what you pay for but you can't really go wrong with this item at this price.

Rezension bezieht sich auf 10 Zoll Ringlicht mit Staiv und Fernbedienung. Das Ringlicht ist mit 10 Zoll Durchmesser recht groß. Das Stativ ist - angepasst an das Ringlicht, stabil genug. Die Rezensionen, welche die Stabilität des Stativs bemängeln, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Die Stabilität des Stativs ist für die Aufgabe völlig ausreichend. Das Stativ ist sehr schnell auf eine kleine Größe zusammengeklappt und ebenso schnell wieder ausgeklappt. Das Ringlicht wird am oberen Ende aufgeschraubt. Die Höhe lässt sich von ca. 50cm bis 170cm, ich würde sagen Oberkante Ringlicht 180cm, verändern. Somit eignet es sich auch sehr gut für das Sprechen im Stehen. In der Mitte des Ringlichts lässt sich eine Handyhalterung anbringen. Da ich Brillenträgen bin reflektiert das Ringlicht sehr stark in der Brille. Wenn man das Stativ ganz auszieht und sich an einen Tisch setzt, sieht man keine Reflexionen in der Brille und das Gesicht ist trotzdem sehr gut ausgeleuchtet. Die Lichtstärke ist mehr als ausreichend, ebenso die Auswahl der Lichtfarben. Gerade im Weißbereich finde ich das sehr wichtig und ich bin vollständig zufrieden. Bei Videoaufnahmen flimmert nichts. Zusätzlich kann das Licht aber wegen seiner Helligkeit einen Raum ausleuchten. Ob man irgendwo einzieht oder man mal eine kleine Fläche im Freien beleuchten möchte - was auch mit Powerbank möglich ist - ist wegen des hohen Stativs einfach möglich. Ich verwende das Ringlicht inzwischen auch als Beleuchtung am Bett. Dabei gibt es eine sehr angenehm warmes orange-weiß. Die Farbe lässt sich sehr weit herunterdimmen, ich finde so ein Licht, wenn man Nachts mal aufstehen muss, viel angenehmer als das normale, sehr helle Licht einer Nachttisch- oder Deckenlampe. Auch für das Ambiente lässt sich das Ringlicht super verwenden. Da es sehr viele Modi hat, ist bestimmt für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Ganz toll: bei Lichtwechseln lässt sich zwar die Helligkeit nicht dimmen, aber über den Dimmschalter die Lichtwechsel-Geschwindigkeit regulieren. Drei ganz kleine Verbesserungswünsche: 1. Das man mit der Fernbedienung auch das Ringlicht steuern kann. Das geht nicht, die ist nämlich nur für eine Kamera gedacht. 2. Das man das Ringlicht abknicken kann und es dadurch z.B. als Deckenfluter verwenden kann. 3. Das das Zuleitungskabel länger ist (ist allerdings nicht so tragisch, ich habe mir für ein paar Euro ein USB-Verlängerungskabel gekauft). Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist wirklich sehr gut. Kaufempfehlung meinerseits.
