More blood means faster nail growth.) 3. Damage your nail. A bad diet or lack of nutrition can make your nails grow slower, so a good diet can help. Taking biotin or eating foods with biotin might help. Drinking enough water might help. Try wearing at least a base coat to support your nail. This support will help keep your nails from breaking as easily. In between mani’s, hydrate your nails and surrounding skin.
