Works well as long as bottom roller attached to wall is present to maintain chain tension. That item is available separately.

Great fit and operation. You can imagine the plastic bead chain is cheap. Measured with caliper at 4.29mm which means any #10 metal bead chain should work.

I bought these to replace CoolaRoo roller end caps. They are the right dimension 1.5"; however, there is no way without grinding out the outside of these and the inside of the CoolaRoo roller to get these to work. They are not "universal" and a huge waste of my time. The CoolaRoo blinds have a large channel that holds the fabric, these have a tiny squared off channel that cannot fit. Also, the chain these use are not one piece and held together with a weak plastic snap on adapter that falls apart with any effort. Honestly, how are these being sold on Amazon?

Perfect fit for my curtain. It is even easier to roll up than the metal chain I had on my broken one. Easy install also!

would be nice if the cable is 2-3 feet longer. But it fits the bar well, and does the job.

Pros: you have all the parts you need to replace and repair a roller blind, either end. It worked, saving a long expensive blind, and I am an amateur. I had no idea you could just pop the clutch out of the tube and replace it. See YouTube. Cons: flimsy and cheaply made, especially the bead chain, a light #10 plastic which hangs weird. The blind clutch isn't smooth but it does go up and down. I can't take beads out to get the chain length right, as the connector appears closed and can't be adjusted. (I will go buy a short key chain and use the connector.) Next time I will go with RollEase, which makes a more solid product and costs more.

I used this to hang a green sheet from the ceiling for a convenient green screen backdrop. Note that 38mm is slightly smaller than 1-1/2" and the inside diameter of 1-1/2" schedule 40 PVC pipe is slightly larger. I wrapped some black electrical tape around the clutch to take up the gap. I put a small screw through the PVC pipe to ensure it didn't turn on the clutch. All in all, it was a pretty simple job.
