Our new set of knives did not come with sheaths and leaving them in the drawer wasn't an option. These fit great on the knives while protecting the blades as well as the fingers that rummage in the drawer. They are hard plastic and slip right over the blades. There were more sheaths than we needed for knives. It was nice to have extras for the camping and fishing knives in our camping gear.

I purchased these to keep my culinary knives from being scratched in the drawer. I used the Seller's guide to be sure what I have matched up to their description. The covers DO fit the knives BUT some are a little too small (can't use) and some are too big. The too big ones are okay for me since I'm a home cook but I would not recommend these if you want to bring your knives with you someplace.

I had a huge set of knives in a knife block, but realized I only used 3 of them. I wanted to just be able to throw them in a drawer, safely. I needed a cover for my 7" Santoku and this set had one that fit perfectly. I also have a 6" chef knife, but I cut the large chef knife cover down with my saw to make it fit.The covers are snug without being difficult to get off and they protect the edges of my expensive knives without taking up any space. I live in fear of whomever needs the covers for the huge cleavers, though!

Purchased for my husband since he had some universe without covers in his chef bag and they were fighting back against the bag. So far so great! No tears or rips even though he keeps his knifes sharpppppp

My dislike is that they don’t fit my chefs knife or my pairing knife there are none for my filleting knife very disappointed!!!

Quality is OK, but one of the knives I needed a sheath for was a 5 inch Santoku. The listing not only pictures this item, but also describes it, and it was missing.
