Fast and powerful, excellent build quality.
So this little beast has been my first laptop to own. The build quality is fantastic and the metal housing is strong and aids cooling, it doesn't feel or look cheap. Boots super fast, have tested some demos, used Photoshop, some music software, and it all works great. I wanted a laptop with 16GB ram, and a decent gfx card, this covered those bases nicely, and with expansion options to boot. I'll be putting another, larger hdd in it soon.| The screen is gorgeous, the refresh rate makes everything that bit smoother, i didnt think i'd see a difference in day to day use of Windows, but it is certainly noticeable and i enjoy using it. The fan can kick in and be a little annoying, that's the only downside for me, however you can adjust battery and performance settings to try and mitigate it's load to fan ratio. Keyboard wise it's very low profile (wish it had a numeric key pad though), the lighting is nice of course and Razers software is great. I saw some comments about others having a nightmare with Windows on this laptop, and I can honestly say I have not had any problems like that at all. This nearly put me off buying this as it implied hardware to os stability issues, but i want to reassure you there aren't any. Love this lappy, I feel it will last a long time too because of the build quality.

Very Good, but...
very good. I'm very happy with it, but unfortunately I'm having some screen problems - it started the same day it arrived, it presents some "Flickers" at random times. I am in contact with Razer and Amazon for a better solution. battery has 5hrs useful life, even more, when used in battery saving mode. it really heats up a lot in use, but nothing different from the competitors ... if it weren't for the problem on the screen, everything would be perfect, but I think unfortunately I was drawn with this ... I recommend

A good laptop overall but poor ventilation
This is a good laptop made from good quality materials. The display is excellent and has a good colour gamut. The only problem I have with this laptop is the placement of the exhaust vents. The two main ventilation points are on the base of the laptop, and when I'm playing a game on it, the laptop can get very hot.

Great laptop, but Amazon misrepresented what they actually sold
I cannot fault the laptop. I bought it to do 3D artwork and it easily copes with it. It's a handsome machine too. My only (small) criticism is the battery life. This machine is designed to be permanently plugged in. For light use, such as writing a document or browsing the internet, I might scrape a couple of hours. For more intense stuff like rendering 3D images or playing Fallout 4, then an hour is probably the max you're going to get from the battery. The Amazon advert speciffically stated there was also a 1TB hard drive alongside the 256GB SSD. That is simply not true. I couldn't be bothered to wrangle with them, but that amounts to misrepresentation. Edit - 9 February 2020 I’m afraid my 2020 laptop is now a £1400 brick. I plugged it into a new monitor and played Fallout 4 for nearly an hour when everything suddenly froze. I was forced to power off the computer as I couldn’t do anything else. Unfortunately, it refuses to start back up again. I see, from their own forums, this is not a unique problem. I am currently trying to have this issue sorted through Razor, but I suspect I may end up buying another laptop as I have somewhat lost faith in the machine.

Laptops hardware issues
It has developed a hardware failure and no longer functions at all. It’s a really nice laptop, works well however after 2years it has developed hardware faults and does not turn on whatsoever. I’m concerned as this now falls outside of the 1 year warranty. I have been through troubleshooting steps with Razer and they have also confirmed hardware failure. This laptop was very well looked after which makes it even more concerning that it’s failed. My previous old laptop of a different manufacturer had lasted me 7+ years. It would also be nice if they could prevent the battery from being charged above 80% too.

Great value for money with discount
Bought the laptop to mainly play WOW. Runs it super smooth at full graphics settings. With the discount (£1099) I think it’s great value for money. Plus looks super cool/slick.

Absolutely Amazing
I wanted to wait a bit to write a review, just to have time to try the laptop in depth. After 3 months of use, I am quite impressed with the laptop performance, it is perfect not only for gaming but for virtualization, programming and everything else. Battery life is not bad, much better than expected after reading reviews over the internet. Construction quality is outstanding, on par with the Microsoft Surface range, and display is really good, too. I absolutely recommend this laptop, you won't be disappointed!

Great specs for price: 1099
Bought for a family member: This is a great laptop. Base model 1660Ti. Great for the price of £1099. Love the touchpad. Comparable to my mac. Great specs. Can add nvme ssd. Has empty slow. Both RAM slots are used in dual channel 2 * 8GB 2933 MHz. 20 cas latency which is terrible Cons: very poor battery life. Very loud even on extend battery life mode.
