Great Product - A True Miracle for our Dog
About 5 years ago, our cocker spaniel was diagnosed as having a spinal cord issue and that he would never be able to walk again unless he was on pain meds, which made him very sleepy. The vet's assistant recommended this product, and now, at almost 13 years old, not only can he walk pain free but run! It will take about 6 to 8 weeks before you see any real improvement, but definitely give this product a try if you have a dog with any joint issues. Plus our dog thinks of them as a treat - he truly loves eating them! I can't recommend this product enough.

High Content of MSM is the Best on the Market
My 8 YO Cavalier King St. Charles seemed to suddenly come down with significant arthritis to the point he would not even attempt to walk up a curb. He got immediate relief (about 2 weeks) with a prescribed anti-inflammatory and my vet sent me home with some samples of Phycox. After looking at the content, I noticed the MSM was about 1000mg, whereas the current hip and joint supplement I was giving him was only 250mg. After doing some research on MSM, I came to realize its the single most effective treatment for joint problems in dogs - and that is coming from owners, not Vets. After reading tons of reviews, I am now a huge believer as now he is only on this supplement for his joints and after a couple of weeks, he is back to behaving perfectly normal (and at its worst, he didn't even want to walk). I will continue to give him one every day and hope his arthritis will be kept at bay with Phycox. As bad as these smell (like a cigar butt), I cannot figure out why he devours them! In my case (and many others attest this, too), this is a miracle supplement.

Been using for years...
I cannot point to anything specific other than we have used this product for years with a Bassett and Lab. They appeared a little more active and have not seen a decline in the rear hip areas.

Good Product-Vet endorsed
My Vet originally gave these to me for one of my five dogs. Since they all started having joint problems, I give these to them all. They will not take these by mouth as they are too large, even though squishy, and my dogs are picky. I break them up and cook them with their chicken and can definitely tell the difference in their walking when they are taking these versus when they are not. Much more flexible. I think it would be even more successful, if my dogs would take them by mouth.

Was recommended by my veterinarian.
I have a 14 year old Malti-poo rescue and my vet recommended this product (and said to get it from Amazon), for my furbaby's joint health. Of course, he's spoiled and won't eat the chewable, even if I break it into smaller pieces, he just spits it out. The scent is strong but I think it's enticing but he just won't take it, so I've been crumbling it into very small pieces and putting it in his food and mixing it in really good and he eats every last bit of it. I can really see a difference in him, he wants to run and play more and also wants to jump, however because of his age I will not allow him to jump because I'm scared he'll hurt himself if he jumps since he already has issues with his knee. Just seeing a change in my baby's playfulness, I will gladly pay for this for him.

Relieved the pain in two of my old dogs, and they love the taste
My vet recommended Phycox joint supplements for my two dogs that are over 9 years old. They started taking them about a year ago, and at that time they were limping and whining a lot, and generally acting like they were just getting old. A few months after taking the supplements, the change is noticeable. They’re running and playing again like they’re years younger, and one dog has even started digging under the fence, which she hasn’t done in years, so she’s feeling a lot better. The chews are soft, moist, and contain sugar, so the dogs like to eat them. I treat them like treats at meals and they don’t have any problems eating them. The label recommends administering one a day to my dog that weighs 75 pounds, and two a day to my dog that’s over 120. This product came vet-recommended, and it worked exactly as it should, but it’s a lot cheaper here on Amazon than it is from the vet. It gets a perfect 5-star rating, and I can’t recommend it more highly.

Good Product, bad info
This says that it is 120 count soft chews, but it is the small bites (1/2 the size). If you look at the photos up close, they do not say small bites like the product that I got. I'm keeping them because my dog needs them and I am out, but I'm frustrated by inaccurate information.

Significant CCL injury improvement!
It is hard to determine if a medicine or supplement works, even harder so when it comes to one you have given your pup. So, I'll share my experience in the hopes it helps someone in a similar situation. My best friend- hiking/running/cycling buddy tore her CCL at the young age of 1 and 1/2 years. The vet's examination (drawer test) did even more damage. Ultimately, we decided against immediate surgery, treating her with pain medications, confinement, physical therapy and Phycox, with the idea that we would opt for the surgery (which carries it's own risks) if she did not recover. Within four months, she was walking without a limp. After weaning her off the pain meds, we kept giving her the Phycox daily, religiously, and were extremely thankful that she did not need to undergo surgery. Approximately a year later, I went out of town for a week. My boyfriend forgot to give her the Phycox the entire time I was gone. Our first walk after I returned home, my pup was running (nothing crazy) and tore the CCL of her previously uninjured leg! Now the timing may have been entirely coincidental, but I am a big believer in the product, and will continue to give all my dogs a daily dose.
