Completely Worth It
Solid construction, easy to read settings, easy to use, durable, reliable. The click is very pronounced when it's used properly. Just keep pulling without slowing down in anticipation, and it'll give you a loud click. This tool is well worth the money. I use it to torque my tire lug nuts to spec practically every time I take them off, and I've also used it on my timing chain sprocket, a critical component in an engine that you don't want to come loose. The amount of leverage I get with this thing makes practically any conceivable automotive fastening situation on my 1999 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner a breeze as far as ease of pull goes. I dropped it once and it still seems to read right on. The results and peace of mind that everything is fastened to spec is well worth the money invested in this tool in my opinion. It's definitely a quality tool. And Lord willing, especially with taking care of this instrument, I see me using it several cars down the line with some routine recalibration over the years.

Excellent & Quality Torque Wrench!!!
This is a very impressive torque wrench! I'm really glad I got the 30-250ft/pd wrench, instead of the 20-150ft/pd. As others have said, this one comes with a certificate, and 6 testing results, in 3 different ft/pd ranges (6 due to torque testing, 3 in forward, and 3 in reverse). The very most mine tested at (for being off the set torque mark), was at the 150ft/pd setting, and it was only 1.7% off The other 2 settings they tested it at, was from 1% off, to under .6% off. I consider that extremely impressive, considering the accepted error range, for most other torque wrenches of this type is +/- 4% off. The wrench itself feels very heavy duty, and solid. I really like the rubberized handle, for sure grip. It's easy to read, and easy to set at your desired torque setting. Everything about this torque wrench is very high quality. It's exactly what I wanted in a good torque wrench! You do need to reset the torque setting to the lowest setting, before you finish using it. Don't leave it at 150ft/pd, or 200ft/pd, lower it back to 30ft/pd, then store it in the case that comes with it. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking at this one!

What an awesome deal. CDI doesn't seem like a name brand
What an awesome deal. CDI doesn't seem like a name brand, but right on the box it says "CDI, a Snap-On brand" The fit and finish on this is very nice. feels like a quality tool. The calibration sheet that it came with was an excellent touch. definetly makes it feel like you got WAY more than you paid for. I have no way of verifying its accuracy but if the calibration sheet is true, it is much more accurate than advertised. I was a little nervous when I ordered this because at one spot in the specs it listed the max torque as 250 in-lbs, and then 250 ft-lbs in another. I definitely needed this to be able to go above 200 ft-lbs so I was nervous to see what the actual story was. Turns out it goes all the way up to 250FT-LBS or 3000 IN-LBS!! The case is pretty decent as well. My only complaint would be that you can't store the wrench at its lowest setting, like your supposed to. the cases interior dimensions are a tad short, so you end up screwing the handle in to about 60 ft-lbs before it actually fits in the case. If I really wanted to, I'm sure a couple seconds with a utility knife would get me all the room I needed. Would definitely buy again. Will definitely tell everyone I know to Buy this if they need it.

good wrench
bought this because I was tired of cheap junk available locally but for DIY wasn't willing to spend $600 on a snapon. Works good seems like good quality and value

Great quality, accurate torque
Pretty simple review; if you would prefer a high quality long lasting tool, particularly one that comes with a certificate of calibration, and you're willing to pay for it, this is your choice. It's less expensive than the "Snap-on" name for a nearly identical product. If you are instead willing to permit some discrepancy in the torque you apply to whatever it is you're fastening, and/or replace the wrench from time to time, then buy a cheaper option. I use mine on brake calipers, and expect it to last a very long time, so spending the little bit extra for that piece of mind was worth it.

Readability of values are difficult in any light
Readability of values are difficult in any light. it takes an effort and the right light. Still deciding if to keep them. shame, I like CDI products too

Excellent
This is a high quality torque certified tool . Bi-directional. Ratchet but not for tightening. securing only. accuracy within +- 0.005%. Must remember to test up to load tolerance. then when done with application. It is crucial the torque setting is let back to zero. The adjustment tang is smooth and quiet. It locks easily and retains a setting. treat it like a baby. The tool will function flawlessly. I found the settings to compare accurately from the low range all the way to the peak settings. ypu will not go wrong here.
