I loved using these in my 1st grade classroom. It was a great very informal assessment. They cards are holding up well and I would say their reading ability is good.

They are nice cards on card stock. However , I should have looked more into the reading level before purchasing because they were extremely easy. I bought them for my students in special education, but I could not use them because they were too easy. They are definitely not for speech therapists unless you are working with very young children. I bought the first level (yellow), but even the more advanced level looks easy. At least the vocabulary word shown in the picture.

Kids use these when I’m teaching centers. Encourages kids to read and enjoy themselves.

These are perfect to help my students with inferencing!

It’s an excellent resource for those who struggle with inferencing. These stories are short but if you have students with auditory comprehension difficulties, you might have to break it down and chunk info.

These are great practice cards for kids learning to use context clues for meaning. The answers are on the back of the card, so very quick answer checking too.

I bought this set of cards for my son. Love it! It provides an easy way to help my son on practicing his reading skill. Very handy. We carry it around and practice even while waiting for restaurant seating.
