5/9/12 volt switch
Works well! Solves a much needed problem to power microcontrollers in so many places. I love that it has different voltages, just check the voltage (5/9/12) switch before plugging in!

Great POE Splitter
Item functions exactly as described. Powers my connected device with no issues.

Great product work well and fast.
Work great, it's been on for over a week no issue. I use it to power (24/7) a mini computer and touch screen using 5mm jack. there is a selector that let you select the output voltage from 5v, 9v and 12v. My mini computer needs 12v. Easy to install and no setup needed beside the voltage switch. You will need a POE injector to use it though. Make sure your injector is 2.5G also if you want to use it at 2.5G. I use iCreatin 2.5G_60W POE+ injector. My Ethernet cable is about 120ft long. you can go up to 300ft with that injector.

Does what it's supposed to!
I have a TP-Link Omada router that connects to a POE switch which then runs connections throughout my house. This splitter let me connect my router without needing a second power brick. It's nice and compact, painless to set up, and a good price for what if offers (I don't know of any other brand offering 2.5Gbps splitters at the moment at any price point). Make sure you set the voltage switch correctly and it just works!

Does not work with battery-powered devices that have a 5V input.
The 5V and 9V modes do not output a steady voltage unless a load is connected, but many devices will not draw a load unless the voltage steady. Caused the connected device to stop working due to constant fluctuations down to 0V.

Perfect Splitter
Works fantastically. Used it to split POE to my Tapo camera. Had to use a male to male barrel jack but it support 9v power with no problems.

Works out of box!!! Using for my non-PoE security cameras
Purchased a few of these to power my security cameras around the house. Switching from being powered by a transformer brick to POE cleans up my installation a lot. Nothing makes you feel better than when something powers up correctly right out of box...which these splitters do. Speed and connectivity into the devices is solid and I love that the splitter can support different voltages, in case I ever switch cameras. There are certainly cheaper units on the market, but I feel good about these. They are solid in their construction and I anticipate they should last for some time. Update: Downgrading this to a 4 star - The description of the product does not indicate it includes a patch ethernet cable. This would have been good to know when I originally purchased the product as I ordered patch cables, which now I'm going to have to send back to Amazon. If the produt description had included that, I wouldn't have purchased and shipped these.

Works ok, but is an NOT ISOLATED power splitter. As long as the downstream device doesn’t connect to anything else, it would be safe to use. If you are using it to say power a hub or an RPi w/ HDMI, you risk forming a ground loop and something can burn out. See attached pic, the internals are a Buck converter, where a proper (and certified) PoE device should have a Flyback converter

Overview I have a Unifi POE switch and the base Unifi Security gateway, and I wanted to power it with PoE instead of using the brick that came with it. Because the USG only consumes around 7W of electricity, the TP-Link TL-POE10R Gigabit PoE Splitter Adapter let me do that easily. The Good Parts * Easy to set up - in my case, just set the voltage and plug the wires into the appropriate ports * Well priced * Works with 802.3af * Power up to 12W@12V (check your device specs before buying one to ensure compatibility) * Comes with a male-male barrel port * Comes with an ethernet cable * Lets you select your voltage * Gigabit ready (some adapters only do 10/100, so make sure you check that before choosing one) * Can also act as an Injector only or as an Injector+Splitter (requires 2 units). I only tested it as a PoE splitter and can't vouch for those other two use cases. Could Be Better * Nothing I can think of
