Close specs to OEM Bournes Potentiometer.
I needed to repair a Hewlett Packard powert supply but it had to be accomplished on a budget. This item was a very close match but I had to cut the shaft a little shorter and file a flat spot on it for the knob's set screw to contact. Otherwise it works great.

Good electromechanical part
Electrically accurate within spec. Operation is smooth mechanically as well.

Pin 3 not connected to pin 1 or 2
Pin 3 is not connected to the end of the coil so there is no reference for where the slider is on pin 2. Basically this pot doesn't work. I bought 2 and both were this way.

A Useful Pot to Have On Hand
These are awesome for testing a pot connection just to see how much flexibility you could add to a 100kOhm connection, even if you decide to put a standard 100kOhm pot in the final design of a project. I built a guitar delay pedal using one of these, and the level of control I have over the time of the delay is phenomenal. The added knob helps with figuring out just how many turns into the thing you are. The pot itself gives you about 10-13 turns, and the knob basically goes from 1-100. Some other folks have complained about a lack of precision in the pot itself, but I haven't found that to be a problem with my projects. My only complaint is that they don't seem to offer larger ones—say, 1mOhm. With something like 1mOhm, you could use one of these to decipher just how much variable resistance a project would be most useful; once again, even if you don't use this type of pot in your final product. It also beats using a trim pot, although it does take up quite a bit of space.

High-precision potentiometer with dial, great for the price.
It's a 10-turn potentiometer. It works exactly as expected and is reasonably precise. Note that it can be a little tricky to install the dial to a panel, and I'd recommend wiring the potentiometer BEFORE installing it into the panel.

included nut is nowhere near the correct size
Pot and knob seem ok but the included hardware is wrong. the threads on the nut don't engage at all it just splits over the top.

10T 10K POT Fine-Dial Knob received Not
-The 10 Turn 10K variable resistor works fine and seems well built and took soldering fine. The POT as been in continuous use for 2 weeks. -The included multi turn vernier dial knob (single digit window version with fine serrated knob) is junk. It worked for about 2 cycles then started binding when the window digit advances and finally wouldn’t work @ all.

Works great in my home made power supply. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the dial mechanism feels cheap and sometimes catches when the counter changes. Other than that, highly recommend it.
