We bought this toy washer for our daughter (22 months-old) for Christmas 2010. I knew from looking at other toy washing machines that ALL of the washers out there are SMALL so I expected that from this one as well. In fairness, the dimensions are off as others say but the laundry basket is not a one-cup size as one reviewer stated -- it's about two or even three times larger than that. Yes, this washer is small ... but so are the kids we're buying these for! They have tiny hands and this washer is a good size for our nearly two-year old daughter and even her cousins years older than her. It was a big hit Christmas Day at our house with a load of kids aged 16 months through ten years -- all of whom loved it. Everyone took turns playing with this washing machine and stuffing things into it to listen to the sounds and watch the drum spin around. It fits nicely on the counter top of her new play kitchen and is another appliance with which she can pretend play. Do not pass this up because it's small!! Sometimes I think adults loose sight of the fact that these toys are for tiny hands and tiny people and that the size isn't disappointing to THEM. PLEASE NOTE: Almost every negative review came from a parent who had YET to give this toy to their child. I bet they're singing a different tune now if they did go ahead and give it to their child. I also bet their child would be very sad if they returned it now. This washer is realistic looking and sounding. It's one of those toys that will be the big hit of any birthday or holiday. This washer and a Sensational Beginnings two-in-one vacuum cleaner were the things the kids played with the most. Don't let the size deter you.

This is the cutest thing! When you instal 3 C-batteries, the machine has life-like sounds! When you power it on, the lights illuminate on the front of the washer. There are 4 buttons, Fill, Wash, Eco-Wash, and Spin. With each wash cycle, the lights change! The tub inside spins when in the Wash and Eco Wash modes. It spins faster, just like real life, when in the Spin mode! The machine will not constantly run. It shuts off after a few minutes. A WONDERFUL FEATURE - it does have a safety feature - when the door opens, the tub stops spinning! And THE BEST FEATURE EVER - the machine has a crank on the back that can be used without batteries. Of course, the sounds and lights will not function without the batteries, but the tub can still spin! So cute! Would suggest this for any child!

I got this for my kids so they would stop playing with my washer and this thing is a lot of fun for the kids and a great addition to a toy kitchen. It operates either with 2 C batteries or it has a wind up mechanism on the back. It makes realistic noises while it spins and has an auto off button which I like so that the noise and spinning will stop after 30 seconds or so. Theres nothing more annoying than toys that wont turn off by themselves ;) I would say get this for your toddler (age 2 - age 5) It is pretty small but therefore wont take up too much space in their room either

Bought this toy as a Christmas gift for my two daughters (ages 5 & 3). I was uncertain as to whether I should purchase this toy because some reviews suggested that the toy simply did not work for them. It seemed like there were more negative reviews than positive...IMO. I decided what could be the harm in ordering the Toy Washer - seeing how the girls love to help me do laundry. Being prepared for the toy not to work, I was pleasantly surprised when we installed the batteries. Everything worked great! I was even more impressed because the toy washer actually spins (I don't remember reading that in the toy description). Anyway, my two girls love the toy. They play with it for hours! Each button makes a different sound and some of the buttons spin the clothes. Works great and I am glad I purchased the toy. FYI - just a little warning it is pretty loud, but not ridiculous.

3 year old loves this toy! Able to throw small items in and watch them spin. This has truly provided hours of fun and is his favorite xmas gift.

This washer is excellent. It has all the features. My 8 yr old daughter loves it. She washers her dolls clothes.

Mon fils précoce de 17mois me lance, entre autres, les machines de linge. Cette machine est une superbe imitation d'électroménager:visuellement, bac à lessive, bruit de lavage et essorage, le tambour tourne en toute sécurité vu qu'il s'arrête dès l'ouverture du hublot. Mon enfant ouvre et ferme très facilement la porte et les boutons lumineux sont impressionnants de réalité. Sa petite taille est idéale pour lui. Mes deux autres garçons de huit ans jouent aussi avec ce qui fait crier le premier quand il ne peut plus y accéder quand ses grands frères lui chippent! La livraison a été rapide et le produit bien emballé. Petit plus pour les écolos: peut fonctionner sur piles qui se rechargent quand on fait tourner manuellement le tambour (mini dynamo). Sinon fonctionne simplement sur piles classiques. La machine s'éteint toute seule quand elle n'est pas utilisée. La taille du tambour permet d'y fourrer le doudou et même les petits jouets passent à la machine. Rassurez vous, il n'y a pas d'eau. Donc, que vos enfants ne s'imaginent pas y faire une grande lessive vu la taille mais c'est idéal pour mon utilisation. En résumé, je conseille ce produit qui est excellent.

Scrivo dopo più di 3 anni dall'acquisto ed utilizzo perché in questo modo non faccio una semplice recensione, ma una reale esperienza d'uso. Ormai i giochi di oggi non sono fatti per durare ed i miei figli non sono certo delicati mentre giocano e quindi già il fatto che non si è rotto niente e funziona tutto implica un giudizio positivo. In questi anni è stata usata come da manuale, lanciata, fatta cadere dalle scale, usata come sgabello o trampolino, il cestello caricato con qualunque cosa e di ogni peso ed ha subito tutto quello che può venirvi in mente e come potete vedere dal video funziona ancora. È una riproduzione molto ben fatta e sembra in tutto e per tutto una lavatrice vera. Ha un led rosso di stato, un tasto di accensione/spegnimento, 4 pulsanti a cui corrispondono altrettanti programmi e diversi suoni ed azioni. A parte il programma di caricamento acqua (caricamento come suoni, non con acqua vera), negli altri il cestello gira come una vera lavatrice con la particolarità che non parte se l'oblò non è chiuso e si ferma se si apre prima che il programma sia terminato. Completa il tutto un cassettino apribile che riproduce quello in cui si mette il detersivo. Il funzionamento è con 2 pile di tipo "C" dette anche mezza torcia (non incluse). Preciso solo che non funziona con acqua. Qualche mese dopo averla comprata ne abbiamo regalata una uguale ad i figli di amici ed anche la loro funziona ancora. Spero che le foto, il video e la mia esperienza via siano stati utili.
