Lorex 1080p HD Smart Indoor/Outdoor Wi-Fi Security Camera with 32GB, Smart Deterrence, and Color Night Vision

After years of struggling with cameras that weren't able to deliver, I've taken a chance with Lorex. It took a long time to compare and research of the claims that camera companies make to consumers. To make this review short.... I can honestly say that Lorex delivers. The cameras are solid and true performers. We've two outdoor and two indoor cameras. Cold or hot weather does not hinder performance..... even after three days of rain, they work great. Also, the software is outstanding.... It's truly functional and easy to use. Finally a company that truly delivers. Lorex... outstanding job! Thank you!

A trusted Brand of Cameras. A no brainer.Excellent cameras with built in sd-card, No monthly dues. Had an electrician install them with outlets on the inside of the house.So far that have been perfecto. One of rhe cameras went offline. I just unplugh from the outlet and replugged it, back up and running.For me I get three days of recording.I can access it remotely with their Lorex app.I love them and I know I made a great choice to go with a brand that is recognized and excellently made. No Chinese brand for something I needed to outsource to electrician for.

I have a similar camera by same manufacturer just an older model . This has much better picture quality and night vision

I have an old Blink but can’t add to the system without paying a monthly subscription. We wanted something on our back yard and this is perfect. Feed connected to my WiFi and sends video to my phone in the app. One time expense the number one reason I purchased.

Easy to setup. Wired, so I’ll never have to replace battery. Despite other reviews, I found the app to have everything one would need. And, it’s easy to use and simply works.Turning down the motion sensitivity to 2 prevents birds from setting it off, although I still get about 1 bird-positive a day. Haven’t tried setting motion sensitivity to 1 yet.

The media could not be loaded.  These are fairly decent cameras, have had them for few weeks. Setup is simple, but tied to smartphone/App only. Motion sensing and ability to retrieve from the SD card works fine. Picture quality too is good.Few issues would not let me give it 5-stars. One, its tied to the Internet in a way that it uses data even when we need to access from home, there is no local network option, so if you want to run it continuously its always burning data. So, if the modem signal is out for some reason but router is still working, it would not work. Second, there is no option to access from PC with IP address (not good to capture more sales). The App is built for smartphone, iPad option is mediocre with smallish landscape view. Will update as I use these more.

I was looking for a simple camera with a web app where I could log in and see whoever's at my back door or in my driveway. That's it. No bells, no whistles really desired.This thing has a light, night vision, two way communication, way more than I need, but it satisfies what I truly needed - cord connection to power source so no changing batteries required, decent weather rating (I live in New England, it's going to get very cold and snowy at some point), and my terrible eyes can tell who's at the door based on the pictures it provides. Perfection. True perfection.

I returned this camera.The camera is well built and it appears that it will last for a long time. However, I had two issues:1. The zone detection and sensitivity does not work well and as such the camera sends too! many false alarm. Basically, any time a car passes my driveway, it sends an alarm. It get worst at night.2. The car and person detection (the reason I bought this camera) does not work. When a car is parked in my driveway, the camera constantly sends alarms. The same issue with people but not as bad as with car.If you are looking for a security camera this is a good product, but if you are looking for one with accurate motion detection, stay away from this camera.

Very sensitive to movement I even set it to the lowest and it still kept notifying people and cars are there it’s extra safe I can say that !! It’s a good product! Just a little two sensitive! Also the Lorex app can use some improvements! Takes a while to load play backs and live view. I will give Lorex a 4 star every thing else is ok :)

Very good product, the last camera I had and returned because it had trouble identifying the difference between a human and a bug or bird, Thus far in the last month I've owned this camera it only made 1 mistake because a magpie tried to land on top of the camera that is mounted on the overhang of the house. Very pleased thus far

Great camera and great quality. Image is awesome, app works really well. Viewing Timeline requires a little patience but overall a great purchase.
