Augason Farms Brown Sugar 3 lbs 8 oz No. 10 Can

You can't go wrong with this brand. I love that I know that no matter what I buy from them that it will be a quality product and packaged for longevity. Having a well prepared pantry is important to me and this is my go-to brand at a reasonable price. I love that I can buy this in bulk and leave it knowing that it is packaged to last. Yes, this is easy to use. You won't have to do any kitchen magic to make this a useable product. Just follow the directions on the can and you are off. You get a lot of product for the price. Don't let the weight of the can fool you. I like that this is not a chemical nightmare. This is an excellent staple to have on hand and forget about until it is really needed.

This makes the best oatmeal and cookies plus it’s a great value for a very small price. The only downside is that I suck with a can opener and due to an a disability with my hands so I only got through the can to open. But I’m sure you won’t have that problem.

I love having a few of these on hand for use in the kitchen. I purchase them when they go on sale, usually stocking up on 2 or 3 at a time. It never fails that I'm a bit short for a recipe or I totally forgot to pick up brown sugar at the store, so keeping at least 4 large cans in my inventory is ideal. The can is very large, and the sugar is soft when I open it. To avoid that hard sugar problem, once I open the can, normally spoon the brown sugar into 2-quart size jars and add oxygen absorbers. That way it is easier for me to store in my actual pantry. It also extends the shelf life. Once opened, the shelf-life is about a year. Is it a bit pricey? Yes, but then again this is emergency stock. I just happen to use/rotate my stock, especially if I forget to pick up something at the store.

This is a LIGHT brown sugar, with a very mild molasses flavor, so if you re looking for a richer and darker brown sugar look elsewhere. The sugar was nice and fresh when I opened the tin, and I repackaged it in to glass jars. I am happy with my purchase, but will probably spend a few bucks more to get a richer, darker brown sugar next time I need brown sugar.

I was not surprise at all about this product this is a great company I have bought other food from them mostly breads and from another place in which the shipping suck so I saw this on amazon and at the same price I order 4 different cans I have not open this one but from the weight of the can it feel full I will open when I do my holiday baking and cooking you can never have too much BROWN SUGAR!right and I am thinking about getting more this is a great company and great products(net wt 3lb 8oz)this can is seal so you have to open it and you suppose to get 527 servings augason farms make good tasting foods
