I bought this for a pantry item for emergency use. Well, I opened it today. My fresh onions had gone bad and given I live in the country I always try to make do with whatever is on hand. So I was making bangers and mash with onion gravy. Came out great using it instead of fresh onions! I haven’t tried the other stuff I got. Peppers, tomatoes, mixed veggies, cheese sauce but I will definitely now. I want to use it to make up jars of soup mix!

These are so convenient for quick meals and backpacking. They are almost pre- caramelized so they come out super fragrant and sweet.
