Submersible Pump 150GPH (550 L/H 9.5W) Ultra Quiet with Over Heating Protection 4ft High Lift for Fountains, Hydroponics, Ponds, Aquariums & More

This small submersible pump has been performing well for my needs. The pump is impressive, especially considering its ability to handle a 2 1/2 feet elevation. While it operates a little slower than expected, it still gets the job done effectively. It’s perfect for light-duty use and ideal for situations where you don’t need fast, high-volume pumping. Overall, I’m happy with its performance and would recommend it for smaller applications.

It worked until it didn't. Functioned ok since June but completely died in November (approximately 5 months) despite me conducting routine maintenance to keep it clean. It never did work as advertised about restarting after the reservoir went dry. It would usually continue trying to run after the reservoir went dry, and the pump would be hot. It always required me to clean it and bang it against something to get it to work again after running out of water (2-3 times).

I am using this in a less than three foot three tier fountain. I have only had it in for a few days, but I have been very pleased with it so far. It is much smaller than the previous pumps I have gotten from HF which makes it easier to install, but it moves 150 gph whereas the HF pumps only moved 110 gph. This gives it enough oomph to get the water up and out quickly on starting, and keeps the water flowing over the tiers with a greater volume. We will have to see if the pump will last more than one season and how resistant it is to clogging. At this point though, I plan to use this pump in my other fountain when it needs to be replaced.

I bought a little stone zen fountain from a shop in Sonoma about a year ago. It is hand made. The pump was always giving me issues and when the water would run low due to humidity or climate it always made a noise. I recently vacationed to Hawaii and when I came back, yep the pump had burned out. I quickly did a little research on it and discovered the pump would only last for a few hours with no water. So, I bought this one. It is waaaay better!! It is quieter, has more control over the flow, is a little more descete and has the added bonus of lasting 360 hours with no water. I am very pleased. Especially because when I bought the fountain the lady in the store said, and I quote "once this pump goes out, this fountain is done". Well Nope! She was wrong, thanks to this pump!

This is a strong and quiet pump and have one year warranty. My stops working with in a year, I tried to troubleshoot following the manual but still not working. I emailed the manufacturer and to my surprise I got a response the next day. Maria responded and sent out a replacement pump. I received my replacement pump the very next day. That is an excellent customer service and responding time.

I bought this to replace one that came with a fountian that always clogged and very never flowed good for more than a day. The new pump worked great, and the water flow is much better than before and it flows consistantly (never clogging). Very easy to install, and the adapters that fcame with it worked great.
