RatX Throw Packs- for All Species of Rats and Mice Safe Around Pets

Like most reviewers, I purchased this product because of its uniqueness in working on rats and mice ONLY. It's safe around other animals (cats, dogs, birds, etc.) but it's not a miracle bait. It does take time (as the directions say) and one has to use it correctly (which I have found most are not). I do not recommend using peanut butter (and neither does the customer support team). You cannot use it around water sources. It defeats the purpose and intent of the product. Using the correct "attracter" (bacon grease, seeds, and dry cat food) makes for a good source of attracting them to the bait. Before using this bait, we had (have) a mice/rat issue and after a week of using this product I would say we eliminated them completely (we never will get to that point) but the number and noises have seemed to decrease. The bait seems like it will work, it will take a few days to see or notice results, you have to use it correctly, and you may have to use it more than once. But if you are concerned about your pets or other wildlife, you do not have to worry when using this. A word of caution!!!! If you intend to use to use this bail in conjunction with some sort of 'hard' traps, be prepared to check them DAILY. It will work.

The use was easy, just open and lay some out. I still hear the mouse in my closet at night, but it's staying in one place. This mouse is smart. It doesn't leave droppings all over the house. I did hear it crunching on some of the poison the first day I put it out. Hopefully it dies within a week. It's been 2 weeks and it's still alive and scratching and moving around in my boxes. It eats the poison and keeps on living. I think I'll call a exterminator. Waste of money.

Great product

Did not work for me.

2 out of the 3 mice caught over the Thanksgiving break ascended to lala land. Big Bertha is still alive. Hopefully, it ate the bait and will join micky & minnie very soon. I don't know how long regular bait is suppose to take but the direction says it can take 3-4 days for this to work. These 3 traps were all within 10 feet but different areas. It was nice to come into work and not smell rancid carcass. If Jerry joins his crew over yonder, this will be a nice investment. I opened a bag and tossed some strategically near high paper areas. I tossed 1 unopened bag in my office but it was untouched. A little went a long way inside the traps. So, hopefully, more critters at work have fed and gone elsewhere to meet the great mouse trap in the sky. I set the baited traps on Tues and it's now Mon. I don't know how quickly they worked because I was not in the building. I'm using this at work so I can't reflect on exposure to pets. Next time I get to the store, I'll buy some raw sunflower seeds to place in the trap with the bait to see if I can fill up all 4 of my traps with the icky micks... 😉

I love how good this works for eliminating mice that seem to migrate to our home from the farm fields in the area every fall. I never have to worry about my cats if they happen to find a dead mouse.

I tried traps but this did the trick.

Didn't really do anything. Had to pick up and throw away, ended up where my dogs could get to them although not placed anywhere near their area. Smells bad, wasn't even chewed open or looks like eaten at all so dont think it worked fast because it just didn't work size looked okay. Not safe. Not fast. Jn the trash.

The rats won’t eat this stuff at all. A waste of money

The product seems to work. Early days yet. But the packaging was really bad. The box was squashed and the individual packets were popped and and in the bottom of the post bag which when I got was split.

This might work for big rats, but the mice getting in to the chicken coop ignore the packs, including when I opened up one of the packs and spread some. Not effective
